We used AA Elite in the past and were grateful to Steve for his expertise that helped us decide against purchasing a particular house. After placing an offer on another home we knew right away that our first step would be to call again to have him inspect it as well.

Steve and John bent over backwards on this one. I called John on a Monday asking to be booked for Thursday. Thursday Steve shows up and the owners of the house refuse to let us in. Apparently the owners agent had botched the dates. So John and Steve graciously agreed to re-book it for the Saturday.

Steve did a great job, lots of photos and thoroughly combed the property. They are pricey however you get what you pay for. He alleviated my concerns with the construction of the house, it's electrical and plumbing.

Steve made arrangements to inspect the house we were buying on short notice, and made a very thorough report of his investigation. I'm sure he noticed things your average detective from the local police force would miss. I very much appreciate the details in the report, and especially helpful were the suggestions for fixing or correcting the issue which he uncovered. Superjob.

I just purchased my first investment property. The first time I hired Steve he came and found issues with the property that were beyond my capabilities and ended up hiring steve again for house #2, which I purchased. Each time Steve was there a bit before me, did incredibly thorough work. He was picky down to the last detail, but was realistic about the challenges I would be faced with. The infra-red and moisture detector brought major piece of mind, the report was far more detailed that I had ever expected. After the inspection steve sat down with me and went over each picture and helped me understand each issue. The whole process was fairly painless, the service was impeccable. Im really lucky to have these guys on my team! Not to mention the how flexible they were with scheduling and timing. Fantastic experience, if you need detailed quality service then look no further. PS I dont know anyone from this company from anywhere other than this experience, I was just blown away by the service.

I have completely renovated my own 80+ yr old house and do renovations and small jobs for others, so I was questioning if I really needed to spend the money on a home inspection but my I decided it would be a good idea to have a second opinion - I am glad I did.
John is verry knowledgable, professional and extremely thourough. He fit me in at the last minute as I called him the day before the home inspection condition ran out on my offer to purchase. He showed up on time and had all the proper equiptment including and Infrared Scanner to look behind the walls for problems and his report is most thourough, informative and helpful. It is done in ADOBE with the pictures he took as well as code references and diagrams with sugesstions on how to correct the issues.
I highly reccomend John, he and his service are worth every penny.

Steve came on time and did a very thorough job of inspecting the house we are looking to purchase. The prioritizing of issues and the depth and clarity of the report were excellent. This information will be very helpful to us in the near term and for later on as well. The infrared gun is a must have - we found a water leak we would not likely have noticed otherwise, and which the seller will now be dealing with. Highly recommended.

I hired Steve for my new house inspection in September 2012. He was very knowledgeable and professional person and wanted to make sure that he catch everything for my 30 days Tarion form. The next day he sent me a detailed report with all the pictures and damage details. I printed the report and sent it with my 30 days form to Tarion and the builder. The service people came and did fixed everything he mentioned.
I would recommend AA Elite to anyone in GTA area.
The inspection was 4 months ago and I just called him this week to check a banging noise coming from the Attic when wind blows hard. He came and went to the Attic and took picture of roof straps and suggested that the soffit and gutter may be doing that noise and I will contact the builder when Steve sends me the updated report.

We purchased our home while living in Edmonton. We were not here for the inspection but made arrangements to speak on the phone with our inspector Steve Blayney after the inspection along with receiving the standard report that comes with the inspection. After paying, I did not receive a phone call so besides the report we had no other information on the condition of the home. We were under the impression as well we would receive information on the infrared camera inspection to see water leaks through the walls. I am doubtful this was done because a few weeks after moving in our basement started to flood with water. The repairmen who came in said this has been happening for months now and it was just covered by new drywall. Not a big deal cost us $1500 approx, but still something that could have been avoided. Everything else was as expected and written in the report.

I am an investor who is in the process of purchasing my first property in Kitchener. After putting a conditional offer on a house, I was able to have Steve attend the property and conduct a home inspection within 24 hours of putting in my online request.

Steve was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. He did an excellent job and took the time to explain everything that he was doing. The use of the infrared camera was also useful for the purposes of prebuy inspection.

A year ago, John did a year end Tarion inspecion. He was very thorough, knowledgeble and very accommodating. On top of a regular inspecion, an infrared thermal imaging was very informative. This time, I thought another inspection was not necessary, however, I called AA Elite and Steve gave me a couple of suggestions. He is an energy flow expert, and did a test on our unit. It was amazing to know where air leaks and drafts are, and how to have a proper air flow in the house. AA Elite utilizes an advanced technologies (an infrared thermal imaging, an energy flow tests) and gives us more accurate and detailed information. The report in PDF format was easy to follow, and delivered in a timely manner. John and Steve are very pleasant to work with. I believe that they care about their clients and properties. This is obvious, however, very hard to come by!
