Red Robin Masonry

We selected Red Robin after receiving several bids. They were very responsive, provided excellent service and great craftsmanship. We had a good experience all round and would highly recommend Red Robin.

From the start to the finish of this project the workers from Red Robin were first rate professionals. They restored our chimney to our request and work began and ended as on time as scheduled. The restored chimney and cap are beautiful.

This is the second time we've used Red Robin on our house in East York. Both times they have stood out from the rest with their quick responses to calls and emails and the time they take to discuss all the options with you. Their estimator is a senior guy, has obviously spent time in the field and gives clear breakdowns of the scope of work..

We had one crew for cutting the opening ans another crew for the re-pointing so got to meet a lot of their employees. As well as being great at what they do they are also incredibly friendly and respectful. I was quite comfortable reviewing their work and asking questions as the work is progressing.

The guys who put the sliding door into the opening created by Red Robin, even commented on how plumb and level the work was.

I interviewed a lot of masons but didn't believe that any of them were competent about finishing the job satisfactory. I met with John and he guaranteed me How was the right man for the job. Joe arrived on time worked relentlessly and they performed beyond my expectations. Amazing artist and solid bloke. It was a Joy to watch him work his craft. Red Robin will carry out all of my Masonary work in future. When work was finished they cleaned up. Their foreman then met with the city Inspector and supplied him with relevant paperwork until he was satisfied and signed the work off. Very professional, organised polite and most importantly work to their target deadlines. Two thumbs up!!!

Red Robin removed my chimney. They did a great job - they were efficient and clean. I then hired Red Robin to reslope the interlocking in my backyard. Again, they were great. They dug around the extension of my house to ensure it was sufficiently waterproofed, and confirmed to me that it was. It was very much appreciated that they did not try to unnecessarily upsell me by suggesting I needed to re-waterproof. They then resloped the interlocking. Once again, their work was efficient and clean. I would definitely recommend Red Robin.

I was looking for some general masonry work to be done and called around. Red Robin responded promptly and professionally and provided me with a realistic estimate with the work done according to our agreement. The work crew were professional and courteous.

We contacted Red Robin for a quote to replace the brick around the front porch and seal up a basement window. John came to look at the job and gave us a very reasonable price, not the cheapest, but very reasonable compared to other contractors. They worked around our schedule as we were timing the work before other work could be done. They sent out a young man named Greg. I would like to say that I’ve never meet a more respectful, polite and hard working person. It was amazing to see such a young person take so much pride in his work. He even worked through rain! I got home from work and the finished job looks amazing. I’m sorry that I did not get the opportunity to thank him in person. I would highly recommend Red Robin and I would specifically ask for Greg. This is the second time we used Red Robin.
Around 2011 we hired Dave and his team to redo our brick chimney. We were very happy with the result and wrote a review accordingly.
When it came to redoing our porch and steps Red Robin was one of the companies that quoted. Their price wasn't the cheapest, but it was very competitive. Because of our positive past experience we went with them. We were right to do so.
Brandon, who was in charge is a craftsman who takes enormous pride in what he does. He isn't happy until the job is perfectly completed. He discovered some stones were stained and had the quarry company exchange them even though it caused a delay.
My neighbours were so impressed with the outcome that Red Robin was able to get additional projects on our street as a result.
We have used them twice now, and, for us, they are batting 1000 in quality and satisfaction.
