Swat Wildlife and Insulation

I called Swat Wildlife after I noticed an opening in my soffit. Randy showed up as scheduled. He inspected my soffits, roof and attic for any evidence of unwanted guests and gave me a good synopsis of the situation. Randy was very professional and respectful. I hope I never have to use Swat Wildlife again, but they will be my first call in case I have any intruders into my attic.

We noticed some animals most probably squirrels have been trapped inside my chimney. Swat Wildlife come to check for us and installed a strong iron net to prevent any animal getting in in the future. This is third time we got help from them . Well done!

Excellent service for a fair price. Raccoon was outside and the company installed a 1-way door and was not able to get back in. Secured other areas and provided good advice. They checked the attic to ensure no damage or other animals.

Swat has been a huge help to us with a variety of animal problems. From removing and protecting a deck space that had been taken over by raccoons to preventing squirrels from getting into our house Swat has been extremely helpful. I have used Swat Wildlife in the past over a number of years as these animals are always finding new ways to invade your property and in this case they were able to access my chimney by pushing the rain cap aside and squeezing in. Ryan was able to put a one way door on my chimney even though the weather which had winds gusting up to 75km an hour would have sent others away waiting for a nicer day to climb the 2 storey roof. I stayed out to hold the ladder even though he said it wasn't necessary. Waiting on the raccoon to leave before she drops her babies as the bad weather last night kept her inside as it would most people or animals.

Amazing work by the technician to come and patch up the exterior of the house to ensure attic was protected from outside animals. Checked the interior of the attic for any wildlife as well. Very professional and fast response by the company. Would highly recommend to others.

On a Sunday afternoon, I noticed that a family of raccoons had bitten through my soffit and built a den in a small attic space.

I called a few of the top wildlife specialists in the city on Monday morning. Swat was the only company that could come that day. They arrived at 1:00 and by 2:00 the job was done. Randy was fantastic. He explained everything and gave me advice on things I could do to prevent further damage. You could tell he loved his job and was also was fond of animals.

My raccoon problem has now been solved.

Lastly, their fees are quite reasonable, coming in at the low end of all the companies I contacted.

After being awoken by a racoon at 4AM trying to get into my roof, I decided to call SWAT Wildlife for help. The main office was able to schedule the appointment the same afternoon and was upfront with the prices and process. Randy was the specialist and he did a very thorough job inspecting my roof and attic including the condition of vents, chimney, insulation, wires, eavestrough, and roof boards. He provided pictures throughout the process. Thankfully there was no racoon or related damage, but Randy did find and address a small gap between the eavestrough facia and roof shingles which could be a potential entry point for squirrels/mice. He also gave me recommendations on how to improve the attic insulation. Thanks Randy for the terrific job and peace of mind!!

Work done: A one way door was installed on the top of the chimney for raccoons to exit and not return. A permanent breathable cover will remain afterwards.
