310RENO Design & Renovation

I was planning to perform a home renovation and was taking quotes from various contractors for a few months.
I checked homestars and called 310 Reno. Left a voicemail and within half hour I got a call back from Dom. A few hours past he was in my home, did all the measurements, gave me the various options I can plan for. Very professional and practical suggestions. Dom also gave me a few references;I visited the work site and liked the way the work was progressing.

I signed up with Dom and I am extremely pleased with him and his team. I did not have to bother much on the progress of the work- it was progressing at times ahead of schedule. Dom would discuss with me any options which he felt needed a change and gave me good directions on every item I was planning to buy. Dom was very careful that his suggestions does not influence my decision- he would give the pros and cons and will educate you to a level where you feel comfortable taking a final call. Dom is a personable manager and I felt very comfortable discussing my questions with him through out the project.

There was a substantial hump in the center of the kitchen which prevented me from installing any new flooriing in the area. This flaw also impacted the living room. Francis determined that the problem was with the main beam in the center of the basement. This beam was jacked up and leveled with the result being a near perfectly level floor. Surprisingly there was very little cracking of the plaster in the house.

I discovered 310 Reno when I was searching for a company to complete the renovations of my basement. I was a bit skeptical at first after reading the reviews on Home Star because I was sure that no company could be that good. Boy was I proven wrong!
I had spoken to a few contractors and got quotes from different companies before I spoke to Mike at 310 Reno. I was sold on the company after our initial talk. Mike was very professional and had a great personality. He encouraged me to ask questions and was quite patient when I asked him to explain a few things about the job. The following week I met Francis who came to help me with designing the space. He was very friendly, easy to talk to and made a lot of suggestions on the best use of the space. I knew then that I was in good hands and a few days later signed the very detailed and easy to understand contract with the company to transform my basement into 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchenette and living room.
Jason and Cao were present, bright and early the first day the project was due to start. They worked hard and took time out every day to explain what they were doing every step of the way. Each day, they also made sure to clean up the space. They were exceptionally neat and you could see the pride and precision they took in delivering a basement anyone would be proud of. I am so impressed with their work ethics and commitment to the job.
What I loved more than anything was how flexible 310 Reno was. When the cash flow was short, they just asked us to call them back when we were ready for them to start working again. I could not believe how understanding they were.
This company deserves 5 stars and more! I love, love, love my basement now! Thanks a million Mike, Francis, Jason and Cao!

From the quick response to our enquiry, to the initial consultation with Francis, and final installation, 310 Reno was very professional. Kyle, the installer was always on time, excellent in exchanging ideas, and exceptional attention to detail. A real pleasure to work with. Would recommend friends and family.

I was very impressed by 310-RENO's high level of professionalism. From the very start, with the initial consultation I had with Mike, right through to the finished product, everything was done to the highest standard. It was a major job remodeling my basement, but Jason went above and beyond what was expected, just to make sure that I was happy with the end result.

I had a great experience with 310 Reno, they are very professional and Mike was always there to answer my questions. They installed hardwood floors throughout my house and baseboards, opened up some walls to make it more open concept, installed pot lights and took the stucco off my ceilings to make them smooth. They did a fantastic job, I couldn't recommend them enough!!!

Thank you to Dom and Davey for completing our ensuite bathroom Reno. The project was a complete gut and rebuild, Davey was the main tradesman, he was efficient, clean and what I was most impress were the clarifying questions he asked along the project to ensure he was achieving our vision. There were a few glitches at the end, but Davey and Dom quickly rectified to our satisfaction. Bathroom looks great, thanks 310.

I will give an honest review. Dom was the gentleman I dealt with the most. I found him to be very professional (but maybe a bit overloaded). We had very tight deadlines (my wife was gonna give birth to our son) and Dom committed to a specific date. While I was at times worried that we were not going to meet that deadline, Dom really stepped up and made sure that the job was complete and on time. I was trying to help out as much as I could (vacuuming, loading/unloading material) to ensure that a) Dom and his team did not burn out and b) that we had the basement done with enough time leftover. Dom was patient with my willingness to help and I am glad about that.

Dom had a drywaller come in but because Dom was not impressed with his work, he removed him from the project and removed the drywall he had put up. I found the quality of work from his replacement was to my satisfaction. I made the design for the basement myself and provided it to Dom. He worked with it and suggested ways to improve on my design (ie shift a wall over a few inches or to create a closet instead of poorly used space etc) and my wife and I are extremely pleased with the result. Of course the price increases with every little modification but Dom was also extremely accommodating in that respect.

I would definitely recommend these guys at 310. I was stressed out because of the nature of the deadline, but I am glad that we had a guy like Dom to really drive the project on. I hope he took a nice vacation afterwards.

After seeing great reviews on Homestars we called 310-RENO for a quote on renovating 3 of our bathrooms. We found them to be professional and more knowledgeable than others we compared against. Their price was also the best. They sent a team of very skilled professionals to our home. What an excellent job they did! We were absolutely thrilled with the outcome of their work. We selected very high end materials and they made it look better than the showrooms we'd seen! We really couldn't be happier with how things worked out. They even came back and addressed minor issues after the fact and did so in a very timely manner. I highly recommend 310-RENO, you won't be disappointed.

We had been planning on getting our bathroom renovated for a few years and we finally decided it was time to execute the project. 310-Reno has done work for us before so we got them in for a quote. As as a rule of thumb we decided to obtain two other quotes.

We requested to have Mike visit us for the quote, he came over and as usual he was very professional and answered all of our questions, he also provided some really good suggestions. Long story short as you already know; we decided to hire 310-Reno a second time.

Our big concern was for our pets and that everything would be clean and safe. Throughout the job we didn't have to stress at all. No doors were ever left open and everyday once the work was done, everything was clean and organized.

We really want to give a special thanks to Dave for doing the majority of the work and who oversaw the bulk of the project. I will also make a special mention of Dom the plumber, who was extremely helpful and a pleasure to have around.

We are very pleased with how friendly and tidy the entire team is. The team seems to be carefully chosen and we felt very comfortable having them in our home. We highly recommend 310-Reno for any renovation. This was our second project and for our third I think I'll just pass up on that 3 quotes rule of thumb...seems to be a waste of time for us when we got these great group of guys.
