Eddy, the company rep impressed us with the depth of his knowledge and experience. He took the time to make sure that we fully understood the choices available before we made our decision. The workmanship of the installation was top notch. They don't cut corners. Honest and professional.

Brian and Eddy provided great service and a decent price. My wife was due to give birth the next day and Eddy took the time out of his schedule to come visit us to give us a quote. We really appreciated the timely service and how quickly they turned around and installed the ac, humidifier and electric air cleaner.

We wanted to get a new a/c unit as our old was needed to be replaced. We were quite confused based on all the conflicting information to be found on the different models. We called Stouffville Home and Eddy came in to do a consult he was quite informative and helpful in explaining different units their pros and cons so we could make an informed decision. When we finally decided we discovered our furnace was incorrectly installed and would need to be corrected which could have cost quite a lot. But Stouffville offered to correct it to code at minimal cost while they installed the A/C which made us extremely happy. Brian and his team came early in the morning and got the job for both done in a day with no interruptions to my household. Needless to say we are very happy with the choice we made to go with Stouffville Home; even though there was a problem that had nothing to do with them or the A/C they took the responsibility to fix it for our peace of mind and the efficiency of our home we could not be happier. To also top it off the A/C they installed is doing great in this heat. Thanks guys!!

The technician left our return duct several unpatched holes and the floors were left quite dirty after the installation. An email was sent to the owner and he personally called to apologize. He immediately came to patch up the return duct.

Great service and great price! Dave called to update about arrival time, and he and Evan worked quickly, thoroughly and efficiently. They were polite, informed and informative, and very thorough. Dave also identified an unsealed section of duct that previous cleaners (and our contractors) had not noticed and fixed it. He also let us know about a number of other simple DIY fixes we should take care of regarding dryer exhaust, furnace filters etc. Furnace room was left in spotless condition. Med Air business card is now stuck on fridge door - I don't want to forget these guys and I will call them again for sure!

I called Brian since my A/C did not work when I turned it on this year. He showed up promptly for a service call and recommended a replacement. Seeing that this was the second year in a row this problem occured and the unit was a 14 year old builder's install we went ahead with the work. The replacement was quick and clean and we are glad we decided to go with SH&C.

Eddy examined our house thoroughly to determine
its AC requirements, and he took the time to carefully
explain the various options (brands, models, features ) and their pricing.
He was very professional, courteous and not trying to push any one
AC model over another. In an email follow-up I asked him
some technical questions about some specific AC unit, and
he took the time to contact the manufacturer's representative
in Ontario to get the specific information that I needed
and forwarded it to me.

We decided to install a mid-level American Standard unit (15 Seer)
which he offered at a very competitive price.

Brian and the installation team came exactly on time, as scheduled.
They were very courteous, professional, and did a great job.
Even though the installation was taking longer than they had predicted
(due to unpredictable complications in my townhouse layout),
they did not rush, and took all the time needed to do the job right.
It was clear that Brian really cares about the quality of his work.

I have had this new AC unit for about a week now, and I am very satisfied with
how well it works in my house.

Overall I highly recommend Stouffville Home and Comfort.

Dave and Evan were both on time and very friendly. I felt very comfortable with them being in my home. Dave first took a look at my furnace and told me i had a choice to make. In order to clean one side of my venting Dave said for the best clean it would be a better choice to cut a whole in the dry wall so he could hook up his vaccuum properly as to not damage my furnace. He was not pushy on the matter and the extra cost would only be $40 and he had a vent cover to put over top for future cleaning. I decieded to go for the better cleaning and Dave and Evan got to work. Evan went to each room one at a time working for top to bottom. Blowing down all the dirt and junk down to the vaccuum. All while answering all my questions. He was able to answer all my questions, and all made sense and he explained thing to me till I understood completely. Dave and Evan took 2 hours to clean the ducts. When they had finished packing up, Dave pointed out to me a few things I should think about changing, such as furnace filters and tapeing the venting to prevent heat loss. No extra cost or unexpecfed fees. Everything he said was something I could do myself. An hour later they returned with the carpet cleaning machine to do the carpets on my top floor. The machine was massive and the power head thing they used worked amazing. My carpet looks new. My wife is very pleased to see all my coffee stains out of the carpet aswell. Its only been a few days but i notice almost no dust in the house I have not coughed once since the job ended and can feel myslef breathing better and better. Thank you Dave and Evan. You truely are a homestar 10!
