Change broken window

I called them to get a quote and they were here by the next day. They got the job done quickly. I was very happy with their customer service. The price is about the same as the other window companies. I would recommend this company to a friend.

Windows

I purchased new windows from All Weather Windows for my 30 year old house. When the first crew came out to install, they did a terrible job, i was horrified by the amount of damage did to my home from broken tiles and grout to damaged tile roof over the bay window and scratches on my cedar deck, from dragging the old windows over the deck. A second batch of windows are of bad quality, in my opinion. They are worse than my 30 year old windows. Even before they completed the second install, I pointed out huge amounts of ice building on the window frame and glass to the installer. He said he did not know why. I contacted All Weather Windows and they have refused to help. I have forwarded pictures to the company, and the manager came out to see them but he was not able to do anything and suggested I talk to the general manager. The general manager has offered no solutions to the problem. Before you buy windows from All Weather Windows email. I will send you the photos and you be the judge. For more info contact me and I will give all the info that I possess regarding the windows.

This is a reply to the company's response

It is now June 20,2013 All Weather Windows has done absolutely nothing, to rectify the problem. Today I woke up to a huge mess. I have windows that are leaking everywhere. I caution the reader, if you are in the market for new windows take a look at these photos before you buy windows from this company.

New window installation

In the summer of 2011 we had All Weather Windows install new windows for our entire house. We had gotten three quotes from different companies and the dollar amounts and window quality were similar. We went with All Weather because they committed to being able to install the windows during a time frame that fit with our busy summer schedule. When we got the call to set up the details of the installation, the dates were different than what we had agreed to. After some discussion and back and forth, All Weather did accommodate our schedule. This seemed a positive thing until the installers showed up. They were a very green crew and, in their inexperience, mistook rockwool insulation for asbestos. All work stopped so that the rockwool could be tested to determine whether it contained asbestos or not, which we were not happy with but understood the safety implications and were supportive of figuring out whether there was an issue (despite all of our research showing that it was highly unlikely). While we waited for the testing to be finished, our kitchen window was boarded up and all of the new windows left outside on our lawn. I called All Weather to see whether we should tarp the windows and I was told not to worry about them, that they were the responsibility of All Weather until they were installed. This resulted in the windows being left outside for in excess of two weeks and becoming very dirty due to significant amounts of rain. When it was determined that there was, in fact, no asbestos in the house, the windows were installed in one day over the August long weekend. The crew was experienced and we have no issues with the actual installation (except in the office where we get minor condensation); the cleanliness, on the other hand, is still an issue today, more than a year later and countless attempts with q-tips, toothbrushes, small cleaning brushes to clean the frames. At the end of the installation, one of the crew members asked the crew-lead whether they should clean further and the reply was "we're installers, not cleaners". It was obvious over the course of the installation day that the crew was ready to start their long weekend. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience. Looking at our new windows makes me unhappy rather than glad to have spent thousands of dollars.

Elenor, the situation involving your renovation was unique. We are quite familiar with many types of insulation from many era's but what we found in your home required additional testing for everyone's safety. It is unfortunate this delayed the project. In regards the windows being dirty,I invite you to contact personally as i would like to remedy this situation ASAP. I am dissapointed that the complaint had not reached us sooner. We are not perfect but we strive to correct all customer concerns. Please contact me at 780-468-2989. Best Regards, Trevor Derewlanka, Renovations Manager.

Front Window Replacement

The product is high quality and the installers do a professional job. I had some problems that resulted in multiple re-visits which was a hassle that required me to take time off work to be home. Some of the problems I believe were preventable and I feel that the Sales Rep dropped the ball on more than one occasion. However Ken the customer service manager made it right, and I was impressed that the company did not require me to pay the balance until I was satified that the work was complete. Overall I was satisfied and I would recommend this company to others.

Window upgrade before winter

Needed the windows on my home redone before winter hit. Tight timeline as other companies were quoting 6-12 weeks for install. Managed to get a timeslot 4 weeks out, install done in half a day, including a living room bay window.Needless to say I am impressed!

Window replacements

Moving into a new condo, we were anxious to upgrade our windows before winter. AllWeather responded with an onsite consultation within 24 hours, and had the job in motion within 2 days. While there was an 8 week wait for installation, this fit our schedule fine, and they were great about accommodating our vacation schedule. As it happened, for reasons not related to AllWeather, we had to cancel a portion of the job. Luckily the work had not gone to manufacturing at that point, and AllWeather was most cooperative about processing the partial cancellation without any penalty or complication. We were impressed and relieved. The windows arrived onsite a couple of days in advance as promised, and there were calls from AllWeather 24 hours in advance of installation to confirm that we were ready for them. The 3-person installation crew arrived on time, and put in a long day to get the job done. The work was meticulous and the cleanup was equally well done. The crew was friendly, communicative and conscientious at every stage - I know because I watched over it throughout the day. The final product was everything we hoped for. So overall we could not have been more impressed - with sales, customer service, installation, the product itself, price and the warranty support. I'd recommend them without hesitation. What a relief, after all the horror stories you hear about renovation experiences from friends and on TV esp. in boom-time Alberta where good trades are in short supply. So cudos to Jacek and his team - would that all tradesmen were as skilled and concerned with doing a great job.

Window Replacement/Renovations

We had older wood windows estimated and replaced by All Weather Windows. The newer technology in them termed v-weld was what we chose. The craftsmanship, installation, site clean-up and overall timing of the project were outstanding. I would strongly recommend the company, sales person Shane Ferry, installer Chad & Kevin to anyone doing windows in their home. Well done!

Windows

The customer service we received from all staff was excellent. Brenda, our Sales rep, educated us as to the type, function and quality of the windows including the big quality difference between CSA certified (which All Weather Windows are) and CSA tested.
Coordination was needed to work with our insurance company as they were repairing the damaged area around a window which had leaked. Brenda did this in a very efficient and timely manner.
Clive and his installation crew were efficient, friendly and thorough. Best of all they did a spotless cleanup job.

The quotes we had obtained from other companies for the same job were higher for a lower quality of window.

We highly recommend you obtain a quote from All Weather Windows before deciding on which windows to purchase., you won't regret it!

The sales person was very professional, left me feeling I was in good hands.
The installers worked very hard. I was surprised how quickly they finished the job. A couple issues regarding hidden electrical arose and were handled very much to my satisfaction....
I would definitely use this service again in the future,

The installation (Rob and Shaun) was professional. Excellent quality work.
Installers were knowledgeable and professional. The doors and windows work great. Installers (Shaun and Rob) showed how the screens work, and how the french door can be opened all the way (my sister has the same door type for 5 years and never knew the litte latch would detach allowing the door to open wide and increase

The products are superior. They provide insulation against the weather and against traffic noise,
air flow)
