Ralph is very meticulous. We live in a building so there is a lot of intricate detail that he needed to pay attention to. Ralph does not let anything slide. He knows his stuff- he pays attention to all building and electric codes, and goes above and beyond to make sure all the wires are perfect and up to standard. He stays as late as he has to to get the work done, and very accommodating while working with other contractors.

This is the second time RLC has done electrical work for us, and we will hire Ralph for every job in the future, as he is quite simply the best contractor we have ever worked with. He did our complete basement wiring earlier this year and we had him back to add kitchen pendant lights last week (add new wiring and install lights). Ralph is a total pro -- meticulous and perfectionist -- and he has such a breadth of experience that he is able to suggest the best lighting solution for our needs. Ralph truly cares about the quality of his work and values his customers, and he is such a genuinely nice, great guy. Ralph is a pro from the first contact, he was prompt to respond to my initial inquiry and once on site thoroughly diagnosed the issue. He provided advice that helped me save hundreds of dollars, and even changed a defective light switch at no extra cost. Finally, he followed up the next day to ensure everything was running properly.

How trues was our experience with Ralph and Co. They showed up on time, were polite, clean and great work. They replaced two light fixtures for us - one in the bedroom and one in the washroom. They changed a light switch with a fan timer. On top of all this, they also fixed a light vanity that was broken. We were very satisfied with the cost of the service and most importantly the quality of the service.

I am in the construction industry, and when embarking on our total gut renovation, the electricians I usually work with were too busy to attend to my needs in the timeframe I needed. So....I called a number of companies on Homestars looking for an electrician to put in a new 200amp service and panel. Of the people I called, Ralph over the phone was extremely polite and helpful...definitely a great start.

I met with Ralph at the house to go over the plans. Ralph's professionalism continued to impress me, as he suggested a great location for the meter base and panel, and suggested an underground trench method that would minimize visual disturbance to the exterior of the house. He showed up a few days later with his crew to do the work, paying attention to details and making sure the installation was very neat - everything was clearly thought out, nothing left to "ad hoc" methods. ESA inspection was easily passed with the inspector also commenting on the high quality of the work.

It is truly difficult to find a contractor who actually cares about their work. Far too many adopt a "get in get out get paid" mentality. I give Ralph and RLC Electric my TOTAL 110% recommendation as a fine gentleman and truly professional contractor that will respectfully attend to all your electrical needs.

We are so happy to have found Ralph for our basement finishing electrical work; we hired him to do new wiring for the entire basement: outlets, pot lights, fan in powder room, and media center wiring, and other task lighting. Not only is he a genuinely nice man who was a pleasure to have in our home, Ralph is a total professional, skilled electrician who has great suggestions -- he encouraged us to really think about how we would use the space to make sure that the lighting was appropriate. The job in question involved renovating our newly purchased home. I contacted RLC and a few others for a quote, and RLC was the first to get back to me and get me a quote.

Ralph, the electrician, was great. He is a no nonsense, straight-forward guy who knows how to do his job and do it well.

He installed CAT5 and Cable throughout or house, removed old baseboard heaters, installed the lines for a large heated floor, moved and added switches, and did the same for some electrical outlets. He also identified and labeled the breakers in our panel for us.

I can't express how much I appreciated the quality of his work, and how much he really cares. He was a bit "rough around the edges", but a pretty great guy. Someone you will use and probably keep in your contacts.

Ralph came at exactly the time he promised. He listened well and walked me through all of the electrical issues in my basement. He did all of the repairs the same day, offered suggestions and stuck to his quote. I was impressed.

Ralph was very punctual and courteous. He arrived on time and was eager to work right away. He listened to our desires and even recommended his suggestions. He installed the potlights very diligently and took care to avoid damaging the dry wall. After the installation, he even cleaned up the work area and left the space spotless!
