Peel Heating & Air Conditioning

We have a maintenance agreement with them. Couldn’t be more satisfied with the service I am receiving from them.
They called me to remind me about the plan I had bought and to schedule the maintenance.

Called on Wednesday to have air conditioner looked at. Service call arrived on Thursday. Air conditioner is less than 3 years old and peel would not perform service until warranty was verified which was supposed to be first thing Friday morning. No return call received. I called on Saturday was given the runaround that it was the weekend and no one could help. Again a promise was made to get back to me first thing Monday morning and that I was now a priority. I had to have my husband call Monday afternoon and the customer service representative hung up on him because he wanted an answer to our problem. Today is Tuesday almost one week later and still no resolution to my air conditioning problem. Another service call has been arranged for today. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone!!

A few nights ago, my furnace started to make a buzzing sound. I quickly took off the cover and could clearly hear the sound was coming from the ventor motor. I turned the furnace off and called Peel Heating and Air in the morning. I mentioned on the phone what the problem was and I need someone to come out and repair it. I was told on the phone that they would charge for their visit, $139.000 to diagnose the issue. I asked if I would get that money back if I agreed to let them repair the furnace and was told no. I should have listened to my instinct and called someone else. But I was referred to them and thought they were reputable so I booked the tech.

The tech arrived. As per his direction, I turned on my furnace. We heard the buzzing sound. Then the tech turned to me and said "your ventor motor is gone". He then proceeded to say that it would cost $900.00 to replace it. He then said that, in his experience with these furnaces, it is likely that the heat exchanger will go as well and that would cost another $1000.00 to replace. I was baffled. He then said it would be best to consider replacing the furnace with a new one. Obviously I needed time to reflect whether to repair the unit for approx. 2K or buy a new one. So he left and took my $139.00 for a 5 to 7 minute discussion. Disgusting.

I called another company on Home Stars and as I described this very encounter with Peel Heating - without mentioning the company name - this other company said "oh you must have been working with Peel Heating and Air". The new company diagnosed my issue over the PHONE, with PICTURES they asked me to take and forward to them. I bought the replacement device, the new company's tech came to my house in the morning and fixed it in 30mins. For $500.00.

I called Peel Heating and Air to speak about my issue with this service. Its been 2 weeks and still havent recieved a return call.

** Update ** per the message from the GM I contacted him and he indicated that is not how they run their business. As such, they sent me a refund in the full amount.

Great maintenance service with the same person providing friendly and efficient care to ac and furnace (think it was Bruce). He did a great job, came in the time window and gave good care to our equipment. Thank you!

Third time using their service, Ray the technician was thorough and detailed in investigating the issue and explaining the functions of the programmable thermostat. Straight forward honest and reliable service commencing with the ladies booking the appointments. Our go to company and any service issues.

Many thanks to Karan and Cane who did a splendid job cleaning the ducts. Very neat and tidy having left everything the way it was initially.
Will definitely recommend them to friends and relatives.

Burning plastic smell from my furnace! Called and Peel was here within hrs! Unbelievable fast, thorough and friendly service! Representitive explained the situation and my options! Would highly recommend and will use again!!

Dexter knows his stuff and is always friendly and informative. He replaced a failed TPR valve this last visit. He usually is the one in our area (Acton) to service our AC and Furnace.

We are beyond thrilled with our new Lennox system. The service techs, Bradley, Kyle, Marcel and Sadiq were outstanding and left our home only after all our questions were answered. The quality of this installation was night and day compared to our experience with Reliance (absolute nightmare).

Anthony and Wes arrived on time and were thorough in their work answering all of my questions. Filter was replaced and humidifier pad checked. Furnace area left in clean condition.
