would NOT recommend this company to anyone!!

I had so many troubles with this company which required 3 total visits to fix the water leakage issue. For subsequent visit, the condo had to turn off water for half a day for them to come and fix the valve and later I found out that they didnt even show up? When I called them to ask about it, they immediately blame me for it saying its cause I didnt provide the credit card info, when in fact no one asked when I called last time and they should have it on file from the first visit.
The person I spoke to gave me an estimate of $500-700 but later got charged way more than that ($1200). When I asked for the receipt, the person said they will mail it but never did. When I called again, someone else once again blames me for not providing email address when no one asked for it in the first place. Very disorganized company, they only care about taking money from you. I would not recommend this place to anyone at all costs.

Washlet installation

The contractor came to install a washlet in the unit.
Charged $440.00 to connect 2 hoses.(as per picture) NO WARRANTY. So I asked the contractor if in an hours time it would be a leak if he would come back and he said no. WHAT IS THE POINT A HIRING A PUMBER? They are here to take people for a ride.
He charged 2.5 hours when he was only here 45 mins. He said he got here at 9am when in actual fact he got here at 10:15am on July 29th 2024
He charged $15.00 for a connecting hose he never change the one we had.

Overcharged blocked sink repair

The plumber took 1 hour to remove the block in the kitchen sink. But charged me for 2 hours! Management in a rude form disregarded the concern. Stating that they use GPS to prove their point! So our clock started ticking before the plumber even was in the unit. Presumably, it took him 15 minutes to get from the car to the unit and 25 minutes to fill in the paper work. Expect to be overcharged. No concerns regarding the quality of work.

Great communication up to the point the company takes your money

Called this company to resolve two separate issues in two condo units (buildings are across from each other). Julie picked up the phone and explained and agreed that due to the proximity of the two units in two separate buildings, she wouldn't charge me twice for the $203 diagnostic fee but rather, in her words 'keep the clock running'. Thereafter, the fee is $51/30 minutes.

Both tenants kept me in the loop on the arrival and departure of the plumber. First job was completed within the hour. Second job was completed within 50 minutes.

That evening, I got an invoice for:
1st job $305 + tax for first job (overcharged)
2nd job $165 + tax (overcharged)
There are other parts fee totaling $115 + tax, which I am not disputing.

If you do the math, the company charged me 2 hours for the first job (when the work was completed within 1 hour) and charged me the 5/6 of the full diagnostic fee. instead of 'keeping the clock running' at the rate of $51/hour.

After seeing the invoice, I immediately called back the next day with an email follow up. Julie answered the phone and said she will raise it with the manager to resolve. That was Jan 6, 2023. Today as of writing it is Jan 25, 2023. I have yet to see or hear a reply from New Water Plumbing. I have since raised a dispute with my credit card company. Let's see if a credit card company will standup for consumer or will continue to allow company like New Water Plumbing continue to trick consumer in paying more without first seeking consent.

Awful Experience

I needed to change a valve for my new washer machine with an open convennient working space. My condo manager helped me to contact the company and discribed the whole situation, my need, and confirmed the price of new valve $87, labor rate $203, and the work could be done within one-hour with the company's manager.

On Dec. 12, when the plumber Tony came and finished the work, he took time to advise me add an additional service "snaking" and declared it just charged me $25 and would benefit me more. Althogh I did not need that service, finally I chose to trust professional suggestion and took it.

I had another small question and asked Tony to confirm if the company would charge me for it, if so, how much. He said the company only charged clients base on time. I had noticed the working hour and there was absolutely within an hour.

Finally Tony said everything was done and asked to take my seat and do paper work for quite a while, then showed me his charging amount around $440, which was not what I have agreed in advance. I pointed out his mistake, while he said I HAD TO PAY FOR HIS TRAVELLING HOUR, which I never heard and never agreed with. My condo manager called the company's manager to explain the whole procedure and declared I would not pay more amount than what I agreed.

BUT, Without an invoice or any notification, without any further communication and WITHOUT MY CONSENT, the company charged me $413.58 from my credit card directly! Is it leagle?

Sink Replacement

This company was recommended by the condo management but I dont understand why. The job was to replace the kitchen sink (which we had to buy) in my mothers condo. The old sink along with the existing tap (which was only a year old and we intended to re-use) had to be removed. The plumber cut the sprayer hose instead of using the quick connect which meant that we had to run out to purchase a new identical replacement tap ($213 cost to us). My husband had to cut the hole in the counter for the new sink which was a bit larger than the old sink because the plumber had not brought his saw. The total time to replace the sink was 5 hours. According to their price quotes it should have cost $600 ( $200 for the first hr and $50/half hour after). However the total cost on the bill was an outrageous $1100. This doesnt include the cost of replacing the tap which was damaged by the plumber.
My husband sent an email to New Water Plumbing about this but we have not had any response.
To keep this short, I havent mentioned any of the other issues that occurred but it's safe to say that New Water Plumbing will never do work in my own home. I can't afford them any more than my mother can.

Solved my kitchen leak

New water plumbing is the corporation plumbing company for my condo. After seeing all the negative reviews online I was a bit concerned and skeptical in dealing with them, but I have personally dealt with Abdul on a few occasions for different issues with my unit and he has always been pleasant to work with and knowledgeable.

Most recently I had water in my kitchen area and Abdul came out to inspect what the issue was. He was quick to find the cause of the water which was due to an issue from a contractor in my kitchen renovation. I was experiencing some issues with the contractor, and Abdul without any hesitation took pictures of the water cause, even made a video so I can provide proof to the contractors and ensured he documented it clearly on the invoice. Needless to say he was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me in this situation, and the contractor did return to rectify the issue.
Thank you Abdul, it was a pleasure working with you.
