I had a foundation cracked in three places on two sides of my house. KP did an estimate that was thousands less than others, offering only what was needed (others pushed new sump pump installations) for a very fair price.

The team showed up on schedule, worked so hard I felt guilty for not helping and got the job done in a very high quality way. The process included digging down to the footing of the house, replacing the weeping tile, repairing the cracks with hydraulic cement, putting a waterproofing aqua bloc coat on the entire wall, placing a plastic membrane over top of that and then backfilling. All this work was done by hand, so no damage to my lawn, walkways or fence occurred from heavy machine use.

I've recommended this company to a coworker already. They're good at what they do and they don't tough you. They charge a fair price for the difficult job that they do.

Kris and his team were fantastic. They came in thousands of dollars less than the next bidder, did an extensive job by hand in only a few days, used quality materials, and cleaned the site well afterwards. There was a small issue afterwards with the backfill and Kris came back and fixed it immediately.

I'm posting this review 18 soggy months after the job was done and everything remains dry.

I wouldn't be put off by the lack of a website. Kris responds to calls quickly.

Chris & team did a fantastic job. He was the only one who was open and knowledgeable of the problem we were facing and how to fix it. He did everything as he outlined in his contract and the work was done on schedule. I would highly recommend him to anyone when it comes to exterior waterproofing

Can't say enough about Chris & his team. They worked over the weekend to make their deadline and did everything they said they would and more. We have renovated 5 homes over the years and have worked with many contractors with so-so luck. Chris was one of the best, if not THE best contractor we have had do work for us. We received 6 quotes and not only did Chris come in at 1/2 of what the others were asking, he was the most knowledgeable and prepared. His contract lays everything out with step-by-step details and products he uses, his contract license # with the city, insurance coverage info and his signature. I'm a skeptical person by nature, usually thinking you get what you pay for, but in this case, I immediately felt comfortable with Chris based on my experience with other contractors and the other companies I entertained higher quotes from because they farm out the work and take their cut off the top.

The men worked hard and did everything by hand, so as not to disrupt my neighbour's foundations, covered their dirt piles neatly with tarps to avoid inconveniencing the neighbours, swept up/cleaned up every night and left the job site sparkling. Good honest men and proud to leave a glowing recommendation.

Kris came to quote the job exactly when he promised and his price was significantly better than other suppliers.

Both his worker and him worked long hours through bad weather and frozen ground to get the job done in the exact number of days he promised if weather had cooperated.

I went from having a huge leak in the basement to no leak at all in just three days. Kris is very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend him for anyone that needs there foundation excavated for waterproofing.

Kris and his team completed the work on time and on budget. They kept the work site clean and safe. They respected our neighbors and did quality work in a short time span. We will be using KP for all our waterproofing needs in the future.

Chris was hired to dig up the old basement floor, waterproof it and put in a level concrete floor. He and his team did amazing work and were able to give me some extra headspace as well that I wasn't anticipating. He and his team worked long days with the windows open to break up the floor, excavate and throw out the broken concrete and sand piles. They then carried it to the truck with a wheelbarrow. Despite -15 to -20C temperatures! Chris even offered suggestions and advice on other work that had been done. Advice on items that I would not have seen on my own, and would have been disastrous. No big fancy truck or outfits. Hard working team who do a great job. At a rate much less than the big companies! Highly recommended!!!

Of the four companies that gave me a quote for the job, Kris's quote was the lowest by a long shot. He doesn't have a fancy truck or state of the art equipment, but his crew worked hard and did the job. Not only that, his crew did a couple extra jobs for me (e.g. demolish a stone water feature) at no extra charge. It has been two years since the job was done and all is well.

When we could not figure out a past waterproofing issue we called many waterproofers to try to find the answer.
Kris arrived promptly when we called, had answers to our questions, and began the work quickly.
It has now been 1.5 years since he waterproofed our basement and we have had no issues since.
His team worked tremendously hard to get the job done well and quickly.
The clean up was very well done also.
I have and will continue to recommend Kris to others.
He just knows what he is doing!
Unlike the previous review, when we had a small favor to ask when the work was done, Kris came back quickly and did the extra work. He had already been paid and was not obligated to.
He has restored my faith in home repair/renovation tradespeople.
