Chris and his team waterproofed our semi last year - 2 outside walls and one inside. I wanted to wait a year and glad to report that the basement is dry! Our basement had flooded due to an issue with a previous waterproofing job done on the inside of the house (not done by KP Waterproofing). I called Chris because I had wanted to fix the issue properly and didn't know how. He came to our house and explained exactly why our basement had flooded and was honest in that his services (waterproofing from the outside) would not help and gave us advice as to the next steps we should take. He did not charge us for his advice. He is honest, knowledgeable, and I would trust him to help us on any future waterproofing issue we have.

Chris quoted me a price to waterproof a leaky part of our basement, and it was lower than another contractor. They did a proper job of it, no problems in the couple months since, and it's warrantied. I felt good dealing with KP.

We had a leak in our foundation and called Chris from KP Waterproofing for a quote. The quote was very reasonable compared to other quotes that we received. We asked Chris to go ahead with the work because of the many good comments on Homestars. Chris did not take any deposit from us - just a handshake and his word that the job would be completed properly. We had to wait two months for the work to commence because Chris was backlogged from the spring floods. When Chris and his crew did arrive, the waterproffing and cleanup were completed exactly as discussed, in one day. We have had two major rains since the completion of the work and our basement is dry. I would like to thank Chris and his crew for their integrity and excellent service.

Chris and his team came in and did exactly the work specified in the contract, with no surprises, and were prompt in arriving on time. His team worked very hard to complete the job in 3 days with a quality effort. Chris and his men were very courteous and polite in answering any of our questions and putting our concerns to rest. Chris' quote was significantly less than the others I received for the same work. Two VERY strong men came on the scheduled day and did all of the sledge hammering, digging and work, manually, on 2 very cold, rainy days in February ... and finished a day ahead of schedule. Through the winter-spring thaw, and even after the major rain storm we just had in Toronto ('Monsoon Monday'), the basement has remained completely dry. Chris & his crew are punctual, professional, and their work is guaranteed for 20 years, remaining with the house, even if ownership changes. I wish all trades people were as professional, easy to work with and reasonably priced. KP Waterproofing gets my highest recommendation.
