Gem Windows and Doors

I was very satisfied with the customer service, installation and quality that GEM Windows and Doors provided. Our salesman Philip was a great help. I would definitely recommend GEM Windows and Doors to family and friends.

This is our second time using Gem Windows and Doors. We were so happy the first time we decided to use them again to have our large front window replaced – previously they had replaced 3 windows on our main floor. Right from the start Seymour’s service was polite and timely – not pushy at all. Once our windows were measured and ordered we were kept up to date on timelines for installation. Due to poor weather the window crew was a little behind and as a result our installation was postponed. However, Gem called with plenty of time to notify us of the change and ask if it was alright to reschedule – taking into account our schedule. The installation was very professionally done and the workers were extremely conscientious. Just one example of the level of care was that they told us that the fumes from the caulking were quite strong and since we had a brand new baby perhaps we would want to stay out of the house for awhile, or at least out of the room, where the window was installed. The crew did a great job with clean up and left the site as they found it. We have had many compliments from neighbours and friends with regard to the window. Even previous to this latest work we have recommended Gem to others – who have also had great success with their own projects. We will certainly use Gem in the future for our window and door needs.

one of the cranks broke on the casement windows and Gem Aluminum gave me the correct one for free after 20 years. This service is beyond what I expected after such a long time. A very nice surprise

The gentlemen who installed the windows were polite, ensured that my house stayed clean, worked in a time-efficient manner and left no mess outside. The new windows are beautiful and I think I got very good value for the money I spent.

Before selecting GEM, I obtained quotes from several vendors who did not come close to meeting the price offered by GEM. Great value for beautiful doors. The sales rep was knowledgeable and not pushy. The installation was quick and easy and they made the door look like it was always there working with our old stucco and frame.

Close to one year after our install date, the front door handle became loose. After a minor panic attack, not sure of how to fix our door, called and met with the Manager of Customer Service and Repairs who patiently listened and then explained what I needed to do in order to fix the door. I appreciated the knowledge and level of customer care I received after the install.

I had many, about eight, vinylbilt windows installed in my home around 2001 by Gem. I found their salesman and installers very good. Recently in 2013, we were having a few problems with the hardware/openers and had no difficulty with receiving instructions on how to replace ourselves from the production manager (saving us the $200 service charge) and the lifetime warranty hardware provided to us with no problems. They are very helpful and easy to talk to - no pressures. I would recommend this company.

I'm very happy with the quality of the product, and especially with the service. Highly recommended. Spiros and Lily were very helpful answering questions. The gentlemen who installed the doors were courteous and professional.

The best quality and supply of windows to choose from. Great sales person, Seymour Zaks who knows the product line and helpful in choosing the right product one requires. The instalation was the best I have ever had. The installers knew their work and did their work in short time and cleaned up when finished. I will recomend GEM to all my contacts and business associates.

I had an old a/c window unit that didn't work anymore so I needed to change the twenty year old window and remove the unit. I had a couple of companies come in to provide estimates, but I really liked the way the staff treated me in store and at my home. The work completed was professional as was the clean-up. I will definitely use them again in the future.
