New French Doors to outside deck
Before selecting GEM, I obtained quotes from several vendors who did not come close to meeting the price offered by GEM. Great value for beautiful doors. The sales rep was knowledgeable and not pushy. The installation was quick and easy and they made the door look like it was always there working with our old stucco and frame. Thanks so much!
Complete roof replacement, new eves, cedar shake, insulation siding
AFter being taken advantage of by a fly-by-night roofer, Academia stepped up to the place and gave us a fantastic new roof. We had to wait several months for our turn, but Academia made sure to tarp up all our leaks and when they finally came, the quality of workmanship and their attention to detail was second to none. Any issue we had was addressed immediately and courteously. Academia gave us a few bonuses as well. Free soffit lighting and patched up all the water damage inside from our leaky skylights. We now have a completely dry and comfortable home. Thanks so much!

We hired this roofer (C. Edwards) in the summer of 2008. My roof both flat and shingled parts leaked more after he replaced it than it did before. Calls were not returned. Beware of this contractor. I now have to replace the roof again.
