Drain Works Plumbing

I had been having an issue with a couple drains in my condo suite. I contacted my management office to got the contact of the plumbing company that is used for the building. After reading reviews of their service, I decided I was more comfortable calling DrainWorks for the job. I have called them in for an inspection once at my parents place and felt comfortable with them to come into my condo.

From the appointment making to the actual service, everyone was great. They gave me various options for time which was helpful and kept me notified for any cancellation spots.

On the day of my appointment my time window was between 9am and 1pm. Around 12 noon, I got a call to be notified that the plumber will around right at 1pm, which he did.

Matt A. came to perform my job, and was extremely nice. He showed me what he thought the issues were, provided me with an understanding of cost before going ahead. He was very honest and the best part was that he took the time to educate me and show me what I can do to help address certain drain issues in the future. This showed me that he wasnt just there to "take the money and run". A true professional with customer service at heart!

I have already told a few people I know, that if they need a plumbing service, I have a company for them!

I called DrainWorks due to a backup I had in my main drain. I received prompt and courteous support on the phone and when the plumber arrived, he was courteous, knowledgeable and offered various suggestions and price points to address the fact that roots were growing in my main pipes. I felt no pressure to make a decision and he took his time to answer all my questions and concerns.
In the end, the option I chose was to hydrojet the roots. I was very pleased with the service rendered. They were very cautious and respectful of my home and were very clean and efficient in rendering the service. I would strongly recommend Drainworks for any and all plumbing needs.

Overall, I was quite happy with the service I received from DrainWorks. I called them on a Sunday afternoon when my sewer line backed up, and they had someone come out within 3 hours to clear it out even though they were booked for the day. The service took about 1.5 hours total, including scoping, snaking, and reassembling my toilet. Their pricing is reasonable and the technician was courteous and willing to answer my questions about more permanent options to keep my drain lines free of tree roots before heading out to his next job.

I am a first time home owner. When I ran into plumbing problems, I contacted my parents who recommended Drainworks, having used them several times with great satisfaction. They arrived promptly, gave a quote. The work was neatly completed exactly as had been outlined with even less digging than anticipated. Someone was always available by phone for advice when I ran into an emergency situation.

This company takes advantage of menu pricing on plumbing jobs no matter how small the job. $369 dollars to install a facet? $ 159 dollars to inspect a problem? And if you sign the proposed work order they will threaten to keep your deposit! Drainworks gives plumbers a bad name this is not a plumbing company! This is a sit behind a name jack up prices, up sell customers get rich business model approach! Beware and stay clear! Find a local plumber and keep an honest tradesman in business. After a blockage in the sewer drain and a call they arrived with the hour on a Sunday and had it unblocked in no time for less that they hdd advised me it would cost. The work in replacing the old drain was prompt and they were considerate not to make a mess and they cleaned up afterwards. Everything was fully explained. Well Done

Great service. Another company said pipes were cracked, drainworks tech Matt explained the problem, verified pipes were okay and took the time to help us understand how our system works. Solved the problem and saved us from a company that was trying to rip us off. Thanks Matt!

Called up Drainworks (Mississauga) on Sunday, not expecting to reach anyone. Massimo answered and said appointments were full for the day but that he would call as soon as something opened up. (It was not an emergency.) Sure enough he called back a couple of hours later and Matt came by to clear out the drainpipe. He told me how much it would be upfront and that's how much I paid. He didn't leave until everything was okay.

I called a few Drainage/Plumbing Contractors that I researched off the Internet and found DrainWorks to be the most responsive and professional in handling my call and listening to my problem. The 2 gentlemen (Lou and Eric) that came to my home (Sept. 11, 2012) were extremely polite, courteous and professional. They attentively listened to my issue (overflowing catch basin) and offered simple and cost effective remedies to solve my problem. They walked me through the remedial steps of their plan to ensure I understood what they were doing, and showed me the problem once encountered. Problem has been fixed as all was flowing with yesterdays rain. The BEST compliment I could give these guys is that, if I had a Plumbing/Drainage company, I WOULD HIRE THEM TO WORK FOR ME! When I suddenly had to replace my galvanized iron water intake pipe because the city was installing a water meter, some work was being done at a neighbour's by DrainWorks. The neighbour gave me a great recommendation for DrainWorks and I was relieved to be able to hire a company I could trust and one that is very capable. This company works hard to maintain its good reputation. Its work was fast, well done, and amazingly neat. I am really pleased to know of a company that I can trust for future work. I think that for most people that sense of trust is really important.
