I had a full season deal with Dr. Green this year. My backyard was a mess with full of weeds, insects and bare minimum grass visible. I wanted professional help to fix it and unfortunately I contacted Dr. Green seeing their at the door brochure. They gave me a full season deal and assured lush green grass with bare minimum weeds by the end of the treatments. After approx. 6 weeks of treatment, I realized nothing has changed in my lawn whereas I was being regularly charged on my credit card. I decided to stay at home on their next visit and found the guy who came for treatment hardly spent 10-15 minutes in my property and left without treating most areas of my house. No surprise, I wasn’t seeing the results with this poor level of service. I escalated the matter over email to them but never got a response back. Then I started calling them frantically everyday and every time I was told that my case is being taken into consideration with highest priority and a Production Manager/Owner will give me a call back to discuss. They never called me back and after this continued for almost a week, I decided not to proceed with this any further and terminate their contract. When I called them to let them know about the termination, I was told that I will have to pay $75 for some “Overseeding and Aeration” which was done as a compliment to my package. I told them I will not pay a single penny for the work which never yielded desired results for me. I was expecting a statement from them on this $75 after which I would have taken my steps against it. The statement never came and I thought that the matter is settled now. It was only after I received their call again few days back, I decided to write this review and let all know how they deal with their customers in these situations. They called me to say that I owe them an odd $187 now (not $75 anymore as they previously told me during contract termination) and if I don’t pay that money, they will hand my case to a collection company who will deal with me. I stuck with my decision and clearly told them I will not pay for something which was never serviced properly and they would need to send me a statement first with breakdown after which I will decide on my next steps. I am attaching the pictures of my backyard after their 6 weeks of treatment and you can understand the level of frustration I have been into since I have been dealing with this company. This is an extremely unprofessional company who never takes their customers seriously and on top of that, tries to push for money from customers even when a contract is terminated and void.
