Derek and his crew promptly arrived on the day to cut our tree which was too close to another tree. They were extremely professional and FAST! They cut the entire tree down and cleaned up in an hour. I had remembered some other small projects, and Derek threw them in as a quick freebie.

I am extremely pleased with his service, and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Bob and his team came in and immediately got to work after confirming the details of the contract. They were quick, efficient, polite and completed the job in less time than originally quoted. Bob was punctual and confirmed appointments the day before. He and his team did a thorough clean up of the site and Bob personally checked all the work before asking for sign off.
We are pleased with the final result and would highly recommend Derek's Tree Service to friends and neighbours.

I don't usually write reviews, but I use Homestars in trust of others that do post their experiences, so I feel I should too. I must admit I was shocked at how efficiently the crew worked. It was a fine art to watch them cut down the dead tree, and plant the new one. I'm ready to book them to prune all of our others!

Fantastic service ,work carried out as promised by a great team who removed very large hedge and left my garden in an immaculate state after clean up. They arrived on time , work non stop and were full of humour. Happy to refer this team to others.

Derek and his usual large crew were here again last week. This was the 3rd time we have used Derek's service in the last 2 years and have been delighted with the results every time. They arrived promptly, the crew of 6 or 8 allows them to get the job done work quickly with minimal damage to the garden and to clean up any mess. We have a large lot with lots of trees so I'm sure Derek and his guys will be back!

First, we want to thank Diana, who works tirelessly behind the scene setting/confirming appointments with home owners to ensure the crew come out on time to do what they are best at and they definitely did excellent job.

2ndly, Derek, Jamie & Bobby, you have an amazing crew that performed their assigned job fast and furious pruning, pulling & mulching cuttings of two giant trees & sweeping up after. Your math and science on cutting down large tree limbs were bang on without even touching the fence line nor a drop branches or sawdust on my both my neighbours' yards - very impressive. Jamie, I bet you can even beat monkeys and squirrels in tree climbing contest, again very impressed by your skills.

Derek, thanks & great work. We are looking forward to seeing you again in the next couple of weeks to prune our front Silver Birch.

I rarely write reviews, but Derek and his team did an excellent job in removing a tree in our front yard. They were professional, efficient and reasonably priced. I would definitely use their service again and recommend them to others.

Derek and his crew did some work for my brother last summer and came highly recommended.

When it came time for us to remove some trees from our yard, we made only one call. Derek was very informative and honest. He told us what exactly what work had to be done and what didn't. He gave us a very reasonable and fair quote.

Derek and his crew did a fantastic job cutting down three trees from our backyard and trimmed another 3 trees. They were very efficient and the yard was so clean, you wouldn't know they were there.

Although Derek was really busy, he took the time to have a nice chat with our 4 year old son.

He's very friendly, knowledgeable and we recommend him to anyone who needs tree services. We'll definitely be calling on him whenever we need tree services in the future.

BTW, you were right about the wood. Three quarters of the pile was gone by the time we finished dinner :)

Derek and his team trimmed a couple of trees on our property and removed a 40 year old tree and stump that had been damaged during 2014 ice storm. Work was exceptional. Area was cleaned perfectly. All complete in under 3 hours. Derek and team are knowledgeable and highly professional. The very best in the business!
