I have to admit that when I first found Clarke Basement Systems online I didn't do much research, I was thinking since they offer free estimate so there's nothing to lose anyways! Now I can say I'm very glad that we chose Clarke Basement Systems to repair the cracks on the basement wall. Everyone from Clarke we've talked to was polite, knowledgeable and respond promptly. Ali and Jason were excellent, they answered all our questions patiently and gave us valuable advice. One of the crack was too small to require a fix so Ali advised not to touch it, I appreciate their honesty on this, and shows they do what's best for customers. The repair was perfectly done and they did the clean up of the area so did not leave a single piece of garbage! I appreciate their consideration and and professionalism, I would recommend Clark Basement Systems to anyone who require work to be done their basement.

After my phenomenal experience with Clark Basements, I felt compelled to write a glowing review on the labour intensive work their team did on my basement. I hired them to install an interior weeping system and a sump. I also had extremely un-level floor in half of the basement so I had them remove the cement floor and repour concrete in that area. They arrived on time and ready to get dirty! This involved days of jack hammering the floor apart, carrying heavy pieces in buckets out to the bin, lifting heavy stones into the basement before finally pouring the cement. They put the weeping system around the perimeter of the basement with a new sump pump. Lastly, the team included waterproofing membrane on the walls, which was sealed great around windows, fuse panel, and outside vents. I cannot begin to express how impressed I am with the work they completed. Being here to witness the hard work and sweat that goes into what they do, I could see first hand the attention to detail and professionalism! They worked non-stop! In addition to the fantastic work, I was blown away by their compassion as one of the days they were working my muffler came off and one of the gentlemen approached the car to see if they could help. I also had extra garbage around the house that they had offered to take to the dump for me. Just all around a great team of hard working men that I am so grateful I found! I requested quotes from 3 different companies. While the others were just as nice, the interaction with Clarke base systems was unmatched. It started with the information package mailed to me and then Chris booking the initial inspection. He came to my house and was considerate to call an hour prior to ask permission for another colleague to join the inspection. They arrived at the time they said they would. They checked the overall moisture level of the house, inspected the cracks, explained their system and process and answered all my questions. Chris gave me time to review quotes to make my decision and followed up after a week if I’ve made a decision. After answering my follow up questions, I decided to proceed with the work. Chris explained what comes next from calls from the office to schedule the crew, what to expect when the crew arrives, how long the work will take and payment details. The scheduling call came as expected and advised the they may be able to come in sooner if it works with my schedule. Which ended up being completed 2 weeks sooner than originally scheduled. Worked great for me. Lucio and Dimitri came to do the work and I love how they call 15-30 minutes ahead to let me know they’re on their way. They were wearing masks, kept socially distanced and laid out the floor covers when I let them in. They were very courteous and professional. briefly walked me through what they will do and how long they will be. Also did me a favour of patching up the exterior crack to close it both from inside and out. Cleaned up after themselves and showed me the finished work and advised of drying time. I’m happy with the work and will monitor for leaks when the snow melts. But I’m happy with the experience I had with Clarke basement systems. I highly recommend them. Thank you!
