We finally got tired of waiting an hour for the oven to come to temperature and called Steve. He got all the details and arrived a couple of days later with the necessary part and did the job in about 15 minutes. He also brilliantly described the problem to me -- he's VERY articulate and made it everything clear to this low tech woman. Later that day the three members of my household stood and watched as the temperature quickly climbed and it was more exciting than anything on TV!

I liked what the reviews said, so I put in a call to Brannan's. Phoned co and left an incorrect cell#. Corrected it. Also contacted the co through their email address and added my Home phone#. Good thing as I learned my cell phone was turned off. Steve had called it twice and then got me on my Home line, and was able to do the repair on the same day I called him. Was I impressed? I was blown away by Mr. Steve Brannan and his service. I would definitely call him for any other appliance repairs needed.

On the recommendation of two friends we asked Steve to fix our dishwasher. He confirmed it was worth fixing and arrived with the parts when promised and fixed the machine. He was friendly, cheerful and fast.

Our dryer broke Sunday night - I was referred to Brannan's by a friend so I emailed that evening.

By Monday at 730 am I had a response, and had booked a repair for today (he would have come yesterday but we weren't able to be home!)

Having someone so knowledgeable be able to come to fix it so quickly was very impressive. Great service, thank you so much!

Mr Brannan came by today to fix my washing machine.
He gave me the bad news that it was not worth repairing because my son had accidently caused additional damage when he had attempted to repair it.
It is a pleasure dealing with an honest individual even when he can only give you bad news.

We have used Steve a couple of times over the years. We had a really old '70s fridge which we inherited when we bought the house. When the fridge portion stopped working but not the freezer, Steve knew immediately over the phone what the problem was. I told him the age of the fridge & asked if it was worth fixing. He said yes if that was the only problem as the old fridges are so much better built than the new ones. He arrived, fixed the problem & suggested one more thing that could possibly go wrong. No pressure from him to replace this part - just a suggestion. I went with his idea & the fridge worked perfectly for years afterwards. The only reason that we had to replace it was the door flange failed & we couldn't get a replacement. The fridge & freezer were still working perfectly!
Same thing with our (then) 20 year old washing machine. Steve diagnosed a faulty clutch, replaced it and the washing machine is still going strong 15 years later.
Steve is honest - he'll tell you if a repair isn't worth doing. He's prompt, knowledgeable, articulate and personable. I have recommended his services to friends many times over the years and will use him again when the need arises. Thank you Steve!

I agree with all the positive comments regarding Steve's excellent service. This is the only appliance repair company to call. I also appreciated his helpful tips on appliance maintenance. Steve suggested turning off & rebooting the oven computer when this didn't work he told me to get a good oven thermometer to track temperature fluctuations. On then, he said it would be worth the cost of repair. Honest, polite and punctual.

Steve came out to fix our quite old "laundry centre" (stacked washer and dryer). I had described the problem over the phone and he quoted us a likely price range that ended up being right on the money. When he arrived - we arranged a time that was within 24 hours of our final phone call - he not only fixed the problem (replacing some other worn parts that hadn't failed yet but would have soon), he even cleaned out the vent (from inside the house and outside) when he realized that someone parging the outside years and years ago had partially obstructed the vent and we had never noticed - now the dryer dries better than it ever did! (And is a lot less noisy)

Steve was very polite and courteous to myself and my wife, and would be happy to recommend him to others.

We emailed Steve telling him that our Kenmore oven is only 6 years old and we've already had 2 service calls for the same problem which cost us plenty with Sears. The problem was that the temperature wouldn't get up to what was programmed.

He called back and told me to shut down the circuit breaker for the night and turn it on in the morning. Crank up the oven. What is he? the holistic oven guy? Yes indeed, he is the oven whisperer! It's not often you get something for free. It was like rebooting the computer. The oven is now working. Thank you Steve! Will play it forward somehow.

I called Steve and he phoned back right away and set the service call for a time that was convenient to me. The repair was completed quickly and I got good advice as well.
