We have been receiving outstanding service from Steve Brannan for many, many years. We discovered him when he was the popular expert on a CBC radio phone-in program. His advice and his work have been providing us with great value for money. He offers suggestions, at no cost, over the phone to see if we can fix a problem ourselves bedore he makes a service call. If he needs to visit, he tells us the cost in advance. When recommending repairs he considers the age of the appliance and the replacement cost versus the repair cost. When we together decide on the repair it is done perfectly. When a new appliance is needed he gives advice on the brands that are of the best quality. During all of this interaction he is very professional and a joy to work with. We could not recommend him more highly!

Steve responded promptly to my phone message about repairs to my 20-plus-year-old dishwasher. From beginning to end, Steve was very efficient in coming to my home, ordering parts, booking the visits. I can't praise him enough. I would rather pay for repairs from someone as reputable as him than buy a new dishwasher. Highly recommended.

Also provided input on my dryer informing me that I should hang onto it as long as possible as is a good make.

I used Steve's service twice, first time to repair my oven and second time to check on my dryer that's drying cloth very slowly. You know you're dealing with a professional the moment you talk to him. He asked details about my appliances to make sure he has the right parts, ran through different possible scenarios with me and gave me detailed estimates for each scenario. He came right on time within the next 203 days and was very clean and thorough. The final prices were exactly the same as his estimates and the appliance he fixed still works great 3 years later! His price was very fair too.

Today Steve Brannan came to my house to repair my 9-year-old Maytag dryer that had recently started squealing and screeching during use. This was the second time I have called on Steve -- the first was last fall to repair my Maytag washer. On both occasions Steve was easy to reach by phone, prompt in calling me back with a general estimate, and the work was completed within a day or so of my call. He's polite, punctual, professional, has decades of experience, and he stands by his work. Why would you call anyone else?

Steve came by the day after I called him, quickly determined the problem and suggested we try to get the fridge repaired on warranty through the manufacturer. Very knowledgeable and honest. Will definitely call Steve again for my next appliance repair.
