Service was great. They were able to come with only a day's notice to coordinate with the plumber.

Professionalism and attention to detail are what impressed me the most about Avenue Road Roofing. I had booked my new roof approximately 3 months ahead in order to come at the end of a 2nd floor renovation that was scheduled to end in September. During that time ARR sent an engineer to examine our attic to insure that there were no structural issues and subsequently a start date was set for early October. I chose ARR after reading several HomeStars reviews and discovered that most were favourable and there were many comments on how careful they were to protect the clients property from unnecessary damage. I have a corner property with a rather large front and back garden that I was concerned might get damaged during the removal of the old shingles. My fears were quickly put to rest when the crew arrived on time and methodically removed planters and chairs etc. that might be in harms way and proceeded to cover all vulnerable surfaces.
Seb, the Forman, listened to all my concerns and then instructed his crew accordingly. The work began and continued to well after dark so the house was more or less finished that first day. The garage roof would have to wait as there was rain in the forecast for the following morning. As it turned out, the rain held off and the ARR crew arrived at noon and the garage roof was completed before dark.
My only criticism is that the clean up crew could have been a little more thorough. A final walk-threw to remove stray shingles and plastic wrapping and a final sweeping to remove the ubiquitous grit on both mine and my neighbours property would have been appreciated.
A couple of days later Tas arrived to do a final inspection of the work and found 4 issues that would need to be corrected before the project could be brought to its end. Unfortunately, the next day (Sunday Oct.15th,) a severe wind and rain storm brought two large limbs from our 70 year old Norway maple crashing down into our front yard. One of the limbs just “nicked” the edge of the porch roof damaging one shingle before crushing the eavestrough and smashing the front steps. The next day I called Jason, the project manager at ARR and asked if his crew could repair the damage as I was concerned about my warranty being null and void if the insurance company handled the repair. He assured me that his men would assess the damage when they came to complete the repairs Tas had discovered.
Early the next morning two gentlemen from ARR arrived and informed me that only the shingle was damaged and that the roof boards and protective cladding were fine. He replaced the shingle, at no charge, and finished the work that Tas had indicated. They even cleaned out my garage roof eavestroughs; I was very pleased.
Avenue Road Roofing has been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. No detail was overlooked, no request went unanswered, truly a first class company.

All the employees of Avenue Road Roofing were very professional and very thorough in their work regarding replacing the over 40 year old flat roof on my garage. Starting with Phil who provided the estimate and a thorough explanation of the work required and Jason who kept me informed as to when the work crews would be here. The first group who removed the old roof; constructed the new slope; and installed the flat roofing materials were very professional and cleaned up after their work. Following that there were two individuals who installed the flashing and then the metal. Everyone explained what they were doing and were responsive to my questions. While Avenue Road may be more expensive than some competitors it is worth it to have it done right. Would highly recommend them.

Had roof done last year after having total aluminun faschia and soffits done by another company. A few came loose and I called Avenue to fix for it had to be moved when roof was being done
The supervisor himself Kass came, he was prompt, courteous and efficient. A man with a great sense of humour whilst doing an excellent job.

We are 100% satisfied. We had the roof done about 12 years ago and were very disappointed that it was going downhill so fast. So this time we looked for a solid reputation and found that Avenue Road Roofing appears to have the best reputation in the city.

The estimator came on schedule and gave us a quote when he said he would. The guys got it done in one day (!!!) and were very good about cleanup, etc.

We're very pleased and very hopeful that this roof will last for a lot longer.

We had a third floor addition done in 2009 and used Avenue Road Roofing for both chimney work and roof work. I acted as my own general contractor, so I had to become aware of Ministry of Labour regulations. Homeowners, make sure anybody that comes to do work at your home has both liability insurance and WSIB certificate. If you're getting a quote that is substantially lower, beware! Anyway, fast forward 8 years later. I discovered a soft spot on my flat roof. Dealing with Avenue Road to rectify the problem was easy and painless. Cas come out to have a look, and we did some exploratory analysis of the problem from a hole I put in the ceiling under the soft spot. No water marks, no wood or insulation rot. Cas and I agreed that we would open up the roof from outside above the soft spot. If the problem was no fault of Avenue Road, I would pay half, otherwise, there would be no charge. Avenue Road technicians Zack and John were here today and we discovered ants had eaten away the 1" thick ISO rigid insulation barrier and created the problem. I was prepared to pay half the value of the work done, I thought it was a very fair deal. I was pleasantly surprised to find out from Cas that there would be no charge. I thank Avenue Road Roofing for their excellent service and professionalism in all regards. All the staff that I have dealt with are truly polished in providing sincere, honest and reliable customer service.

I was extremely impressed by the competence and skill of the crew, Simon and Thomas, who did the eaves work at the front of my house. They really did a magnificent job and their work improved the appearance of my house. Joe Del and Cas from Avenue Road Roofing took care of the job from beginning to end, helping me decide what was needed, matching colours to my windows, reasonably pricing the job, inspecting the work when completed. I couldn't be more satisfied and I am so happy I chose Avenue Road Roofing for this important job at the front of my house.

The idea of redoing a pretty big and complicated roof (both flat and shingles) after 25 years was pretty daunting, and I must admit to having put this off for a few years in fear! When I could delay no longer, I reached out to a few roofing companies. Even at this early stage, I was struck by the wide gap in professionalism of the sales execs I met. Marc Kovacevic won hands down. He was hugely knowledgeable, very patient and always guided me to solutions that were best for me – both in terms of cost and outcome.

Frequently, things go downhill once a contract is signed. The opposite occurred at Avenue Road Roofing. The nature of our project allowed me to meet many different specialists, supervisors and customer service people. Without exception, they were all extremely experienced (to the best of my knowledge, no-one had less then 10 years experience, and many had over 20), unbelievably friendly and customer focused, hard working and clearly determined to deliver nothing less then an excellent final product. Everyone really, really cared – about their work, about how we felt, and about our home. You couldn’t help feel the pride of workmanship throughout.

During the project, I had many questions. I was blown away by how senior supervisors were always available to chat. They thoughtfully worked through unexpected challenges with ease, and never made me feel rushed … or stupid! Thank you Toby and Ferges.

Notwithstanding the excellent and experienced teams that worked on our roof, a comprehensive inspection was carried out at the end of the project. I was impressed how this was not a simple formality or cursory check. Cass spent a significant amount of time on the roof, picked up on a few small details, and had a crew immediately come back out - anything less then 100% was clearly not going to be tolerated.

Our roof is now done, and we’re thrilled with the outcome. More importantly, something we were really dreading turned out to be an extremely positive experience! There are many people I would cite. Jason at the office, smoothly, gently and patiently coordinating and hand holding. Sebastian and Uziel who worked on the shingles. (My wife continues to play Despacito, weeks after they left!). Casey on the flat roof. Nick and Mike who worked on our eaves, and took unbelievable care to work around delicate trees in the front of our house. And finally Shane and Brendan who tied up the loose ends. All really, really great guys that went the extra mile!

Avenue Road Roofing is not a small company , and that too worried me at the outset. Yet I think its management has achieved something truly impressive – the bench strength, expertise and resources of a large company, but the feel of a small, truly caring family business.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. Regretfully, Homestars will not allow me to give them an 11!

I called for a free quote on installing new downspouts. Joe responded quickly and arrived when promised. I knew it would not be a straightforward job to move the downspout, however, Joe provided me with three viable options. After selecting the best option for me, Bruno and Alberto completed the work. Like Joe, they arrived when promised. Bruno and Alberto were very professional and polite. They disconnected the old downspout and installed three new ones. They worked quickly and efficiently and thoroughly cleaned their work area. I would highly recommend AVR for any roofing and evestroughing work.

Avenue was the first call we made for a water leak problem. We needed an eavestrough replaced and then discovered a flat roof was needing replacement too. Matt , Jason ,Kas and their crew all delivered great customer service in getting the job quoted, scheduled and finished before any more bad weather could make our problem worse. Very satisfied with result and recommend them highly.
