Avenue Road Roofing

Chose Avenue Road Roofing over two other companies that bid to install a solar powered Velux skylight because Avenue had already done my roof. They were a little slow in ordering the window but it was partially because I was out of the country. They did install it on the day and time requested and it was done in about 4 hours. They left the place impeccable. The installer did not know how the machine functioned but he had Tyson call me before the end of the day and he forwarded the entire manual to me within 12 hours.

Before the bill was sent, an inspector came to verify everything was in order. He pointed out another problem with the eaves troughing and arranged to have an estimate for it.

They are a little more expensive than other places, but they are very reliable.

AAR was contracted to do shingles, entire flat roof and some evestroughs. They made right concerns I had with the flat roof. Tony De Sario did a fine job on my evestroughs.

This company employs very skillful and knowledgeable tradesmen. I hired them to remove bricks from side of the house to do a side entrance for a basement walkout with concrete pad for stairs. Jason F. was the carpenter that was assigned to do my side stairs/steps to the entrance and Rob on the masonry side was signed to do the brick and concrete work. These guys work and coordinate well in advance with each other and came with action plans and got everything done on time. Jason was very knowledgable on the carpentry side of things and extremely responsible. He had to work outside of the brick work schedule as stairs can't be added while brick and concrete is being done, he even show up on weekend to get his part of the job done timely. Rob and his masonry team puts the structure and integrity of the home as their main priority and did not take any shortcuts. When job was done, it was as if the side entrance was installed by the original builder. You can't even tell the side entrance and steps were added afterwards! Appreciate the work team!

I had a small problem where a shingle at the corner of the garage was slightly raised. Yesterday (Friday) and today (the next day - Saturday) it was repaired by Kas Tobin.

Avenue Road was one of the only roofing companies I called that came out and provided a proper, full quote in a timely way. Trevor answered all of my questions comprehensively, helped me understand what I needed, and even let me know that I could wait for a couple of years for the repair of my 'main' roof I'd been expecting to have done.
The crew came today and did a fantastic job on my porch roof - they were prompt, tidy, and answered all of the questions I had. The work looks really good.
Avenue Road has a reputation for being the best - which they lived up to today. They cost a little more (though not much more than other quotes I received), but it is well worth the piece of mind.

The two previous re-shinglings of my home were done well by a family firm which recently has gone out of business. I studied roofing companies on the internet and decided to visit Avenue Road Roofing. I was received with courtesy and given a tour of the premises. I liked what I saw and arranged for quotes. I accepted the offers and have had good communications on scheduling. The masonry and roofing has now been completed and was done well. It has been a difficult season for the company with many rain events, but they met my timing needs and answered my questions well in a professional manner. I am very pleased that I contracted with this firm.

Overall very satisfied with work done. Lighting was more difficult but Tony and Alberto came out and did an excellent job installing five new fixtures and reinstalling two originals in short order.

From start to finish Avenue Road Roofing outdid themselves. Ryan was wonderful helping us pick the shingles and showing us the photos of the flat roof and explaining everything to us in detail. Jason (who has a voice that belongs on radio), kept us well informed of any possible delays and what's happening with each stage of the jobs. The shingle crew was outstanding and so were the flat roof crew. The flat roof crew determined that a second downspout was required to help keep the water off the roof. The metal work fellow, who's name escapes me was terrific. The metal work and downspouts are fabulous. Kas was the last guy on the job to inspect it all and he's extremely good as well as being very personable. I would never hesitate to recommend this company to anyone, well done guys.

I've had my roof replaced, my eaves replaced, and my sky lights replaced by Avenue Road Roofing and brick work done by Avenue Road Masonry. They always do excellent work, send nice and honest people, clean up, give me a fair price, and follow up after. They have consistently exceeded expectation. Water in the house causes expensive damage. I feel confident that Avenue Road Roofing will know what to do and execute to the highest possible standard. I wouldn't use anyone else.
