Purchase of living room and bedroom

I had never been to Arrow Furniture before but a friend recommended that I check it out. What a great surprise! The staff was very courteous and I did not feel the high pressure that I often get at the big box stores. The store was beautifully decorated and the selection was huge. I was able to pick out a living room and dining room that I loved. Best prices that I have seen around and I had been looking for about 4 months.
The delivery staff was very professional and arrived within the 3 hour window that I was given. They actually called me an hour before arriving.
One of the chairs had a broken leg. I called customer service and they exchanged it two days later.
If you haven't ever been to an Arrow Store, I highly recommend you make the trip.

SOFA

PURCHASED A SOFA WHICH LITERALLY FELL APART AT THE SEAMS IN LESS THAN A YEAR. ALEXIS, WHO IS THE MOST USELESS AND UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER, SENT AN ARROW EMPLOYEE TO COME AND FIX THE DAMAGE. AT THE FIRST VISIT, THE ARROW EMPLOYEE STATED THE SOFA SHOULD BE REPLACED AS IT WOULD KEEP FALLING APART EVEN IF FIXED!!! AFTER 6 MONTHS OF GOING BACK & FORTH WITH ARROW, I WAS EVENTUALLY GIVEN A "NEW" SOFA, BUT NOT WITHOUT BEING ADVISED THAT "NOTHING LASTS FOREVER"!! THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT THEIR PRODUCTS!!

Sofa

We received our sofa cash paid on Sept 27th! Was delivered damaged and dirty! Customer rep came by, took pics and when we asked if we could reselect for a different sofa he said there was no problem, they would do it all the time. So we were very happy and went back to the store. We chose an another sofa but the salesrep said that we need an approval from the customer serv to reselect. So we called them an they told us that they don't approve it, they will fix our sofa! We called few times to check when the part will arrive, finally min Nov the lady on the phone told me that the part arrived long time ago (If I wouldn't have called, they wouldn't inform me!!!). So now since over 1 week I am trying to set an apt for them to come by and fix it, but there is only 1 person who can help me (that's ridiciolous). Because she's never available, we are leaving messages, but noone calls back! It's not acceptable that it takes 2 months to fix that sofa, hopefully they will come before Christmas! I would never buy at this place anymore!!! They're all very nice til you pay, after that noone will help you and noone will return your calls!!!
I received a bedroom from Brick in Oct, there were few scratches, we called, few days later everything was fixed!!!!
Arrow furn is cheaper but also the service!!!!

bedroom, living room

Getting into a new home and trying to furnish it can be daunting at first and after doing our research on the internet and reading many reviews from many companies we finally made our decision to buy from Arrow Furiture.
From the minute we stepped into the store until the drivers left our house we had nothing but a great experience. Even a small service issue was handled after that with their service department in a pretty timely manner. We had read and heard of many good and bad stories from many companies but only can tell your readers of the good experience we had at Arrow. Its one less thing to worry about when moving into a new home. Bravo Arrow!! We'll be back!!

SOFA

Arrow arranged delivery for a Saturday and called to confirm on the Friday. We asked if it would be morning or afternoon. They said definitely not the morning but the afternoon after 1P.M. and so we arrived home at 11-30 a.m in the morning only to find that they had been at 11-00.a.m proved by the phone message by the office left for us.We called up right away and basically insinuated we were not telling the truth about the delivery in the afternoon and would not be able to return until at least the following Wednesday to which we replied what are we to sit on as our existing furniture had been moved out.The manager at Weston road was very discourteous and unapologetic basically saying, tough, you cannot cancel. The salesman at the brampton branch was excellent and it is a pity that his great service is let down by irresponsible work at the head office. Will not buy from ARROW again.

Bedroom set

I purchased a bedroom set from Arrow furniture, they have a lot of selection at this location and the choices are very good. The sales people are kind and give you time to think about your purchase, they do not pressure you into purchasing something on the spot. They gave us the chance to make the right decision for us and it was a good one. We are very pleased with our purcahse!

Arm chair

Whenever I visit this store i look forawrd to seeing various style of furniture is instead of the boring,low quality other store have on display. Some one greets the moment u enter and are helpful to direct to any kind of furnishing u are searching for.

Dining Room Set

To Whom It May Concern:

On March 11, 2008 went to your store in Brampton (Queen St.) I purchased a dining room set (order # B21821), which was delivered on Saturday March 15, 2008. I am writing this letter to voice my total dissatisfaction with your product and service! My experience at your store was very pleasant the sales person dealt with me in a total professional manner…but neglected to inform me that the setup of the furniture would be a separate charge. What he asked me to do was initial the delivery slip and no time was I informed that I was declining the setup. I was then informed that my delivery would take place in the afternoon. The truck did not show up until 6:00pm. The deliverymen then informed me that I had initialized the delivery slip stating that I had waived the setup. As a single female living alone I would never have agreed to such terms, had I been correctly informed that the setup would incur an additional charge I would have gladly paid for it! To make matters worst when I started to assemble the table with the help of my father (who is the one that recommended that I purchase the table from your store), we found that one of the bags of screws/washer/bolts had been ripped and half of it’s contents missing. In fact I even found some washers later in the elevator in my condo! I then noticed that the tabletop was flawed it had eight raised spots visible where the screws that had bolted the table insert. On Monday March 17, 2008, I went to your store to advised the management of the situation, at that time I was told that I would have to contact the service center directly to file a complaint on my issue! I was very upset and informed the assistant manager to cancel my order and remove the table from my condo, she informed me that I would still have to contact the service department. This is an asinine policy! Here it is I have purchased goods that I have not used and it is my responsibility to book an appointment with your service department! And further I would have to wait upwards of 3-4 days before being contacted when someone can be scheduled to come and look at the table and then make a decision what is to be done! This is unacceptable! I have purchase from other major furniture outlet and have never gotten such poor service! At this point I want to have my money refunded and that table/chairs remove from my condo ASAP! I will purchase no more goods from your store or will I ever recommend anyone to purchase anything from your company. I am sorry for the people at the Brampton store because everyone there has treated me in a kind and professional manner…it is not their fault the head office has an idiotic policy. Almost two weeks later I am still stuck with a defective table and chair and no resolution….

Sofa, Table

I would not recommend anyone purchase furniture from Arrow Furniture. I had to wait 1 month for my sofa and tables after being told that I would receive it in a week. Upon receiving the furniture it had cracks and scratches in several places. I requested that they be exchanged to only find out that the 'new' pieces were also defective. The customer representative at the head office was not very courteous and was actually rude on several occasions. Truthfully they didn't really seem to care. I really don't think a company like this should be in business. They are not very punctual and lack effective customer service.

Purchased bedroom, dining, living furniture

Loved the couch in the showroom and opted to buy most of what we needed there.
couch $1799
6x dining chairs $150/ea
queen bed/tallboy/nighttables $1500

The salesman on the floor was pleasant but the sales manager made me feel patronized without my husband.
Items were 2 weeks late and 1 dining chair was broken beyond repair and one drawer in the high boy was defective/broken. Rather promptly they sent out a technician to take photos and confirm that replacement was necessary. A month passed with no call to confirm replacement date. Several calls to Scarborough store to ask WHERE stuff was was met with the response..."we'll call you" 6 MONTHS LATER I placed a much angrier call only to find that it was now IN. We asked to pick the items up at the original store of purchase on Dundas/Mississauga. They were to call and let us know it arrived and didn't. Finally we called and discovered it was there for a week. Upon arrival at the store we found they had not sent the right chair model and the wrong drawer was replaced!!! They even had PICTURES!!!! I outright told the store manager that we would be taking these items off their showroom floor and they complied. Never again going to shop at Arrow!
