We plan to sell our house in the Spring, and to avoid any potential surprises after an offer is signed, we arranged for a pre-sale home inspection of our property. We hired Brent of Classic Home Inspections and were very happy with the service provided. Brent arrived on time and truly took the time to properly review all anspects of the exterior and interior of our house. With over 10 years experience in this business, Brent was able to point out any minor deficiencies that could easily be fixed, and discussed what some of the key issues could be and what he is looking for. He was very knowledgeable and personable, patiently answering all of our questions. He prepared a written report on site and left us with a binder that contained not only the report, but a host of things a homeonwer should be aware of and do during ownership of a property. Brent followed up with the electronic summary report within 48 hours. We would hire Brent again and can definietly recommend his services to potential home buyers and home sellers.

The painting job was done on time, on budget and at a reasonable cost. He and his team were very focused in executing a challenging refinish of extensive woodwork including a large number of kitchen cabinets, 2 vanities, 8 French doors, several other doors, baseboards, wainscotting in several rooms and in a 3-storey hallway/stairway, plus painting walls in the hallway and in several rooms and closets. They were very diligent with their work and ensured that everything was done right and cleanly. At the end of each day, Nestor gathered up all tools and paint cans, vacuumed the work area and left everything neatly tucked away. Most amazingly, Nestor always had time to explain what he was doing, why it was done and he even provided advice and actually helped with other home improvement work in the house, at no extra cost. When the job was complete, Nestor rechecked everything and made sure nothing was missed. We were very impressed and will definitely contract him again when the need arises. Ontree provided prompt estimates for the removal of the 7 trees and shrubs, grinding the stumps to 12" below ground and disposal of all brush and chips. Jody, the estimator, was very friendly, professional and knowledgeabl and the office staff was also very responsive to our inquiries. In spite of light rain the crew arrived on the scheduled day and professionally cut down the trees and shrubs. They were very careful not to damage nearby roofs and eaves. The material was chipped on site, and the work was completed in less than 3 hours with minimal noie and disruption to the neighbourhood. Their clean-up was impeccable and we were impressed by the quality of work provided. The price for the job was very reasonable. We can highly recommend this company for any tree removal work.

A very professional enterprise, "Ontree" provided a prompt written estimate for the work. They postponed the job on the first scheduled day as the ground was too wet after a heavy rainfall, but then the crew arrived on the rescheduled day and completed the job very efficiently in less than 3 hours, in spite of light rain. Stumps were all ground down to 12 inches below ground as agreed, and all material was removed and put through the chipper on site. The yard cleanup was impeccable and the work done with mininal interruption and noise to the neighbourhood. The office staff was also friendly and prompt in responding to our inquiries. The cost of the job was reasonable. We highly recommend this company for tree removal work.

After a tree removal by another company, Marc visited to assess the requirements of the job of removing large raised gardenbeds, left-over roots, levelling the front yard and laying sod to finish it. He promptly provided a written estimate on the same day. Marc arrived early on the agreed-upon day, ready to get to work. It was heavy labour to remove countless wheelbarrows of soil, all pushed up to his truck for disposal, and to remove left-over roots of 30 year old trees and shrubs. Once the ground was levelled and carefully prepared, he laid the new sod and provided advice on how to care for the new grass. He also helped us finish another area of the yard and then cleaned up the site of all debris. Marc was very friendly, accommodating and pleasant to deal with. He finished the 2 day job to our complete satisfaction. Previously, we had hired Marc to remove and relay a stone walkway, and in 2010 Marc had built two 5 ft high retaining walls for a basement entrace after removing the crumbling brick walls. On each job, Marc provided the highest quality of work, at a reasonable price. Thank you Marc for a great job once again! We can highly recommend Marc for any landscape project.

We contacted Vanguard Caulking for an estimate, and Rimas visited to provide a quote the next day. He committed to completing the job on Monday, a few days later. He took the time to explain the process, and patiently anwered all of our questions. Rimas and his colleague arrived as arranged and started removing all old caulking. By end of day they had recaulked 19 windows, 3 entrance doors, 2 sliding doors and 2 garage doors in a most professional manner. Rimas filled all gaps that were never caulked before, replaced vents and matched the colour to the surface as needed. The caulking used was professional grade Dow caulking, and the finished product and workmanship is nothing less than amazing. Completely straight lines, smooth finishes, no mess on the brick, and no bulges between bricks. They cleaned up perfectly and left no trace behind other than a 10 year written warranty on their workmanship and product. Even our neighbours commented on the quality of the work as seen from their backyard. We are very happy with Rimas' work and can highly recommend Vanguard Caulking services to any home owner in need of this work. It was a pleasure dealing with this hardworking and professional team.
