I have tried several times to get this review online but keep getting blocked we had a terrible experience with HD order # 126346885 purchase date Nov 29 /17 we bought a washer and dryer at HD and were promised installation ......the friendly salesperson said 'no problem......you won't have to do a thing and we also asked that the truck not come down our 200 foot driveway with 25 foot high old cedar trees and were assured she had written it on the ordera large truck did come down the drive and tore branches off our trees and then tried to turn around on the lawn and damaged boththe men said they were delivery only and had no tools for installation. We hired a local plumber to install the machines. they backed up quickly and tore more branches off and damaged the lawn again. we have called repeatedly and been assured 'we will make it right' but they have done nothing despite many assurances Sheila in Elora order # 126346885 purchase date Nov 29/17

we comparison shopped and found the best price for seemingly similar quality at Alexanians. We were told it was a popular 'in stock' carpet and nooooo problem about having it in a timely manner. This is the Guelph store. well there was a problem finding the carpet so a two week wait and three times we arranged to be home for installation and were cancelled at the last minute with little explanation and NO apology or regret. how can a super friendly salesman turn into a complete opposite as soon as he has your Visa Number ..............which you have to give up front and is cashed instantly............customer satisfaction not a consideration. the Toronto office did get back in a timely manner to this review and I changed my rating from 0 to 3 although I was promised some compensation that has not arrived. the gentleman was very apologetic and had checked my story and found it accurate and was helpful. the compensation did arrive in a timely manner actually and when I didn't find it on email, Mike called and sent it again and was very very courteous.............I would deal with this company again (although not the Guelph store) thank you Alexanians for good customer service----------I do appreciate it terrible terrible service.............would never deal with these people again
