As mentioned in a previous review, Valentin is amazing at what he does. He is courteous, patient, explains the work being done, is very organized, clean and methodical. I had a clogged kitchen drain. I tried everything to unclog the drain but nothing worked. Not my own snake, my own auger, vinegar/baking soda, drano, or plunger could fix the problem. I reached out to Valentin and explained the issue. He wasn't able to come by for a few days as he was extremely busy. I told him I would wait as long as I could as I didn't want to use and/or take the chance in hiring someone else to do the job. Valentin went out of his way to re-arrange his work orders in order to see me earlier. I would have waited anyways but I very much appreciate the empathy Valentin had towards my situation. He said it himself that he didn't want me to wait as the kitchen sink is an area that is used most often. Valentin is so easy to deal with, he's down to earth, he listens, he understands and he cares. Always a pleasure.

I always feel confident when using Strong Plumbing Inc. to do a plumbing job around my house. This time, I needed two faucets replaced. One in the bathroom because it was leaking and the other one in my kitchen because it ceased. I used Strong Plumbing Inc. to fix two toilets in the past and now to replace these faucets. I will continue to use their services for as long as I need to. I already have some future plans for two other washrooms. When the time comes, Strong Plumbing Inc. will be called and they will deliver. Valentin is a wonderful human being to deal with. He shows up on time, he tells you exactly what needs to get done and his quality of work is superb. I appreciate his services and reasonable price, thank you Valentin.

I would not recommend this company. It's not acceptable for a weed application to be over 2 months apart. I received one application June 30th and just received my last one September 10th. The invoice they dropped at my door on the 30th of June said they would be returning in 5-6 weeks. Clearly, that didn't happen nor was I informed by phone or even email to indicate that they would not be on time. This is not the kind of customer service I expect. If you going to be late, fine, but at least inform your customer and keep them up to date on what's happening. In the two month period I had so many more weeds grow because Weed-a-Way wasn't there.

I called Core Temp because I was haven't an issue with my Air Conditioning unit. RIchard, the owner of the company answered the phone. I explained the situation to him and instead of him wanting to come over right away to physically look at the issue he attempted to solve the problem over the phone by asking me a few questions. After some trouble shooting he provided some options and gave me all the information I needed in order to make a decision, and even then I felt no pressure whatsoever to buy his products or even use his services. Richard is as honest as it gets. You will understand what I mean when you speak to him over the phone and meet him in person. The communication from start to finish was smooth and I was updated about the project every step of the way. I feel confident that I hired the right person for the job and I know I can rely on Richard if anything should arise in the future. Ricard takes pride in his work and truly does care about his customers. I felt looked after and felt that my best interest was kept in mind. Can't get any better than that. You will notice that Richard takes as much time as needed to answer all the questions you have about his products and the work being done. He has the desire to educate his customers not just install the product and get out. In the end, I decided to replace my furnace as well since it was just as old as my AC. Thank you Richard. It's been a pleasure working with you.

I'm happy I went with Air Force. I appreciate companies who keep their customers informed on what's happening instead of just showing up at the door. Air Force's customer service is top-notch. They send confirmation emails for appointments and give you the heads-up 30 minutes before they are heading over to your home. When Caco and his teammate arrived they both were very friendly and professional. He introduced himself, they both had masks on and they put on the protective shoe coverings to prevent dirt from getting in the house. Everytime they needed to go upstairs or enter a room, they asked first. I trusted Caco and his teammate from the beginning but this kind of courtesy goes a long way. They didn't do anything without my permission. And lastly, the other thing I also appreciated is that Caco explained exactly how the job was going to get done. I was shown before and after pictures of the dust in my ducts and Caco did one last walk through the house to make sure everything was clean and the job was done in it's entirety. Very happy with the work and especially the customer service. They truly do go the extra mile to ensure their customers are happy. Would recommend.

A year back I hired Easy Access Garage Doors Inc. to replace my garage door opener. Recently, my garage door was opening but no more than two inches off the ground. Because of the good experience I had the first time, I without hesitation called Chris and explained the situation. He told me he was able to come the following day which I greatly appreciated because my home does not have a door leading into the garage from the inside. Chris arrived while I was at work, told me that my garage door spring needed replacing and finished the job before I arrived home from work. Excellent service for the second time. I will always call Chris for any garage door repairs because I trust him and he does amazing work. Thanks Chris.

Natanael and his team at P&P renovated my entire basement last summer and did a fantastic job. I recently called P&P to explain a minor leak that I noticed underneath my laundry sink and a crack in the drywall. They were both fixed right away. This is what I appreciate about P&P; their promise and delivery in ensuring that their customers are completely satisfied. Natanael is a man of his word and I say with confidence through my own experience that he will continue to treat you as his customer even after the project is completed.

We hired JSN about a month ago to inspect our stove that was displaying an error code. Unfortunately, the error code was the replacement of the control board which tends to be the most expensive part of the stove. JSN laid out my options and provided me with the price to replace the control board. My wife and I were not in a position to buy a brand new stove as we didn't want to spend that kind of money at this time. We decided to proceed with the replacement of the control board. Ayman was a wonderful person to deal with. He was honest, respectful and willing to answer any questions I had. Stove works great and although we spent more money than we wanted to, it was better than buying a new stove which would have costed us $1100 at the minimum. Thank you for your services.

My experience from beginning to end was excellent. These guys are excellent in providing the best service and the best quality. The two guys that came to insulate my attic were top notch. Their were polite, considerate of our home, (eg. removing shoes, asking to open a window, asking to use the washroom) and explained the entire process. This is the third time I have used Riley's Tree Services Inc., and as usual their service is excellent. This time I needed two mulberry trees removed from our backyard. The previous owners planted these trees right against the perimeter fence which was a concern to my wife and I. Also, in the Spring the mulberries attracted so many birds and with that came poop all over our patio furniture and patterned concrete. The trees had to go! Riley will always be my go-to guy for anything related to trees. Once again, I am grateful to have discovered this company and to continuously deal with the owner Mark, who is a wonderful human being. Thanks again Mark.

My wife and I decided to hire P & P to renovate our entire basement. We thought that we might as well go all the way by finishing the crawl space, laundry room and cold room at the same time. Natanael and his team worked hard everyday. They showed up on time, cleaned up after every shift and finished a beautiful basement for our family to enjoy. Here are a few reasons why I choose P & P to renovation our basement. I met with the owner to discuss the project (Natanael). He provided a very detailed quote that was sent by email. P & P removed all the old insulation and installed brand new insulation from wall to wall. One company was only going to insulate the bottom half of the basement and leave the existing insulation. P & P didn't rush through the project and took as much time needed to complete the project. I wasn't a fan of companies claiming that they could finish my basement in two weeks. It's not about finishing the project fast, it's about the quality. I liked the idea that P & P uses vinyl flooring instead of laminate. And lastly, Natanael and his team were kind, respectful, considerate, polite and professional. They all were wonderful to deal with and we will forever appreciate their time and service. They have given us a basement that our growing family will enjoy for many years. Natanael, thank you for sharing your talent and giving us a basement that will create many good memories. My wife and I decided to renovate our basement and had MLL Electric assigned to do the electrical work. My wife and I are completely satisfied with the work that Manuel and his team did. Manuel is very neat, clean and professional. He is a wonderful person to speak to and is willing to answer any questions you may have about the work being done. He installed pot lights, light switches and plugs and updated my electrical panel accordingly. I would definitely hire Manuel again for any electrical projects that I may have in the future. I'm getting my basement renovated and discovered six foundation cracks. After doing some research and due to time restraints I called Aquaguard to see if they were able to do the job the day of. I was lucky and quite thankful that they were able to do the job as I had an inspection coming up in one day. I met up with Luc to describe what needed to get done. Luc is a very professional, kind and friendly person. He took his time, was very thorough and cleaned up after the job was completed. He had to work while other work was being done around him with a lot of noise. I appreciate him doing the job in those conditions. I chose Aquaguard because of their fair price, good reviews and 25 year warranty on every crack. The warranty gives me the confidence in knowing that they will do the job right and that THEY have the confidence the injection won't fail. I am absolutely pleased with the service I received from Easy Access Doors. I called and spoke with Chris who was willing and able to answer the questions I had about garage door opener brands. He provided his honest opinion and made a suggestion on the type of garage door opener to get. Based on the fact I had a room above my garage I went with Lift Master belt driven. Let me tell you how quiet this opener is, wow! Chris is amazing to deal with and the quality of work is fantastic. He was in and out in about 30 minutes. I called three companies to get a quote for floor plan drawings in order to get a permit from the City. I needed this permit for my basement renovation. Mohammad quoted me $1000 less than the other two companies. I ended up using Mohammad's services not only for his reasonable price but also because I felt comfortable speaking with him over the phone. He was professional, respectful and knowledgeable in his field. Mohammad was very kind by providing me with the drawings early as he knew I was on a tight deadline with the City. He put in the extra time in order for me to have the drawings on time. I do not take this for granted and it was very much appreciated. I would definitely use Mohammad again. His prices are fair, he provides quality work and he is amazing to deal with over the phone and in person. Mohammad, I appreciate your services. Thank you my friend.

Called Strong Plumbing to fix a leaky toilet that a previous contractor was unfortunately able to fix. I met up with Valentin to do the job the following day. Valentin is a wonderful person to deal with. He's friendly, professional, and thorough in diagnosing problems. He discovered the issue which was the wax seal. He also checked the other parts of my toilet to ensure they were functioning properly. Without a doubt I would hire him again for other plumbing related projects around the house that I may have in the future. He is now my go-to guy for plumbing. I called H & R to see if they would be able to quote me a price to replace my old ABS piping over to the new PVC piping. They were able to come the same day to provide a quote. I also asked if they would be able to do some maintenance and replace a valve for my humidifier. I decided to hire H & R and met up with Ravi and his father Harry to do the job. Ravi and his father have excellent customer service skills and truly care about their quality of work. They did a fantastic job and I am pleased with their work. Matt called me ahead of time telling me when he was going to arrive and showed up with his partner. Matt and his partner we're very friendly, professional and careful removing my fridge from the basement to be disposed of. Matt has exceptional customer service skills and takes pride in his work and truly cares about customer satisfaction. This is the 2nd time I am using Gold Seal Caulking to complete a caulking project. First time was in my previous home and now in my new home. When you meet Mike (the owner) you will get the sense that he truly cares about his customers. He is super easy to deal with, and his quality of work is beyond words. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the services provided by We-Haul Moving. These guys showed up on time and worked very hard from beginning to end. I was quite impressed with the heavy treadmill they managed to carry into the basement of my new home. These guys are strong and were very careful with our belongings. They brought everything into our new home without a scratch. They also ran every single item by my wife and I to see which room/area we wanted the item to go. Just bought a new home and wanted to use McLaughlin Flooring again as they did an incredible job the first time when they replaced my floors in my previous home. Rick (the owner) is a humble, patient and hard working individual. He truly cares about his customers and the quality of work that he provides. A modification needed to be done to part of our existing trim for it to transition neatly into our new trim . Rick's worker Jordan fixed the trim and installed laminate flooring on the entire 2nd floor of our new home. I didn't get a chance to meet Jordan as I had to work but I just wanted to say thank you so much for your excellent workmanship. I hired roofs on homes a couple years ago to replace my roof as well as my neighbours on my left and right. This company truly cares about the quality of the work they deliver. Danny, one of the owners is an upfront honest man who provides you all the details of the project so you have a clear understanding of what's being done. We all know the damage this past wind storm caused to hundreds of residential roofs. I checked my roof, not one shingle was missing. Many other neighbours in my complex lost several. I could have only wished that my wife and I had a positive experience like others did when it came to installing a fence and patio in our backyard by Action Home Services. Here are a few points. You can then decide whether you want to hire them for your project. 1. Several screws were sticking out of the fence boards 2. The garden bed was not square 3. Many fence boards were cracked 4. Screws were missing in the fence boards 5. They laid down the polymeric sand on a windy day which blew everywhere and caked onto the patio stones which ended ruining it by leaving a foggy white substance 6. The fence posts are not square 7. Patio stones were defective 8. The company pushes you to write a review the day of and right after the job is completed. How many other reviews are like this? A companies quality of work shows in time, not one day after the job is completed. John, you are a good guy, you really are but I'm sorry. There is no way I can give a perfect score with these major issues. You made us wait over two months to come back and correct the issues yourself which your workers couldn't do the first time. May this be a learning experience for you and your team. I do not recommend this company.

Tony (the owner) and Norman (salesman) by far has been the best contractors I have ever dealt with. Both Tony and Norman take extreme pride in the work that they do. Tony provided me with a very detailed quote of the work that was going to be done. Norman came by, took some measures and provided me with all the information I needed to know about the product I was looking to purchase and get installed. Tony and Norman carry very high standards for themselves and are very honest people. Tony's crew came by and did a fantastic job installing my sliding door. This company by for has provided the best customer service I have never received. My wife and I decided to visit their showroom and was greeted by a salesman named Amir. Out of all the experiences that I've had dealing with salesman Amir took me by surprise. He was not pushy to sell, he listened to our needs, and he also gave us our space in trying out the different beds, not like most sales people who hover around you. Amir new his products and answered all the questions we had with confidence. Nine Clouds Beds was the first place we stopped at to look for a bed. It was our plan to visit other locations like the well known Sleep Country, Leons, etc... After our experience with Amir and how confident we felt with the overall service we ended up buying the bed. Their reviews on homestars.com and google speak for itself. You won't be disappointed.

What an excellent company to work with. Riley's Tree Service cut down a tree for me over a year ago and I decided to get the stump grinded as I am planning to re-do my backyard in 2018. I was confident that the job would get done with quality which it was. You will notice that Riley is very fair with cost and takes pride in their work. He gave me the quote, we had a brief conversation and after that, I was comfortable to start the job. His team did an amazing job cutting down the dead tree in my backyard. I received a quote from Solutions Electrical and decided to go ahead with the project seeing their great reviews on Homestars. I enjoyed communicating with Tony through email who kept me up to date with the quote and the work that was going to get done. The quote was full of detail with no hesitation to go ahead with the project. Two workers came to install a light in my crawl space, to install my already bought outdoor light fixtures and to install a receptacle in my garage for my garage door opener. The electrical wire used was good quality, the work was very neat and professional and my place was left clean once the job was completed. I am satisfied with the quality of work done. Thought I would provide an update on how satisfied I am choosing Dodds to replace my garage door and door opener. A year later I needed to call in and ask for a paint sample of my garage door and frame because my front door needs to be painted this year and I wanted it to match my garage door. Susan on the phone was so helpful and willing to send out a paint sample by mail so I could go ahead with my project this summer. Even after the project being done a year ago Dodds still delivers and cares about their customers. Thank you for this, I appreciate your continued support.
