I had problems with the kitchen plumbing leaking under the sink and water flow issues with the garburator. Valentin was very good at explaining each problems and how he will address it. Since he was already here, I told him to start the job. The price was fair and reasonable after checking around HomeStars website earlier. I asked him to remove the garburator and replace the plumbing underneath sink. He found that the existing plumbing was not installed properly and a broken housing which allowed water through. There was no need for a trap to be underneath the sink since there was another trap between the joists. When he started the work, he found a slight bent between the sink and strainer which allowed water to come through the housing. He showed me the housing which was partially full of grease between the strainer. Also he found the ABS pipe was not glued which allowed water through. Once he installed the new plumbing, he tested to make sure the water flow was good. He had to snake the drain to clear any blockage that existed. After testing many times, he showed me the water flow was draining properly. Valentin did a great job and cleaned up the area. Definitely, I would hire Strong Plumbing again.

I've been reviewing the ratings on Homestars to find a reputable company to fix my shower door. I called Canadian Premier Glass & Mirror Inc on Dec 28/19 and Rob called me back. I sent him photos of the hinges to replace and he provided me the costs in a timely manner. He came out on Dec 30 to repair the hinge. He replaced the hinge but did advise me that the original shower door gap between the glass was to close. He did advise me with the options. I decided to have the shower door replaced. He provided me with a quote in early Jan 2020. Rob came out to replace the shower door. Shower door works beautifully. Yes I would definitely recommend Rob.

Dodds Door original replaces our garage doors in 2008 and was happy with their services. However, in Nov 2018, one of the garage door was damaged and need replacement. I got several quotes and Dodds price was competitive. We asked Dodds to expedite the order because Winter was approaching. Garage doors were installed in Dec 2018 and completed in one day. Installation crew did a great job and cleaned after themselves. We are very happy with the new garage doors and the service with Dodds. I will definitely recommend them

I knew about the Aeroseal technology through YouTube videos. My house was getting worst for airflow during the summer & winter. I decided to research who provides this type of service in our area. I called Areoseal Tech and asked to come out to provide a quote. Victor came out on a Saturday in September and measured the airflow throughout the house. It was not very good. Sealing the vents will be a better option than insualting the roof. I decided to go with Victor because of reviews on HomeStars and his knowledge on the technology. Victor and his crew came out and started the process of meauring the airflow. Ducts had a 711.3 CFM of leakage which is 134.4 square inch hole. Then he used the Aeroseal duct sealing system which injects adhesive particles into the ducts. After 20 minutes he had too look for larger holes in the ducts and patch the ducts. He found 3 holes, patched the holes and repaired the drywall. After they finished, the sealing, ducts had 16.6 CFM which was 97.7% reduction. Finally, they had to rebalance the airflow to each room. Now the house has better airflow in all rooms. Great technology and thanks for Victor and his crew doing the work. Definitely, I will recommend them.

Furnance and rental water tank needed replacement. I used High Life before to install furnance and air conditioner. Mark, Sales Manager helped me in deciding which product to install. Carrier and Ontario Power Authority offered rebates which reduced the price of the furnance. 2 man crew came to install the furnance and tankless water heater. It was a big job and took 9 hours to install. Crew did an excellent job installing and cleaning up after. Also they spent a few minutes explaining how the furnance and tankless water heater works. I would definitely hire them again.

I called and talked with Joe and he provided me with a competitive quote on the phone to clean the ducts. Services included: Clean ducts, furnace, sanitize and clean dryer vents. Very impress with the customer service and work. Joe called the morning of to let us know his crew will be late. Ducts are very clean and no mess left behind. Also, they took a picture before and after to show us. I would definitely re-hire Dial One Professional Duct Cleaning for duct cleaning.

I had hired Andy's Heal & Seal about 10 years ago and asked Andy this year to install polymeric sand in the joints and seal the pavers. Andy provided me with a quote which was reasonable. He contacted me a day before to perform the work. Crew cleaned the driveway, installed the polymeric sand in the joints and sealed interlock driveway. Crew did a fantastic job and cleaned after themselves. Job took about 3 days. I definitely hire Andy's Heal & Seal again and recommend to friends & family.

I contacted Albert from 3 Guys Gutter last year and he provided me with a quote for cleaning the eavestroughs and installing gutter guard. I decided to wait til the spring to do the work. Contacted Albert this spring to do the work. He came with his crew to clean the eavestrough and install the gutter guard. They did a fantastic job cleaning, repairing a few leaking eavestrough and installing the gutter guard. They scheduled a service call within a few weeks to inspect their work and make sure the water was flowing properly in the eavestrough. The realigned one of the eavestrough and added 2 additional downspouts at no additional charge. I would definitely recommend them to friends.

We were very happy with The Chimney Company's work last year. we decided to re-hire them to replace the 11 window sills at the back of the house. I gave Bill a call in the spring and he promptly came with a reasonable quote. Bill and his crew completed the job in 2 days and clean up with no mess. The window sill looks great!! Also, he replaced a few deteriorate bricks with no extra charge. I would definitely recommend The Chimney Company.

I contacted Oscar to repair my old Sony Video 8 Handycam. I dropped off my Handycam at his store and he would contact me later with a free estimate. A received a call back within a few days and told him to repair the Handycam since the price was reasonable. I picked up the camera and satisfied with the repair and 1 year warranty. Thanks Oscar.

We hired Shower Deluxe to install a custom shower tub for our shower in 2014. We had Mike come by to do the custom measurement of the shower. We had different quotes from various glass companies and they were unable to match Shower Deluxe price and quality. We were very impressed with their workmanship and quality of materials used. I will definitely hired Shower Deluxe again.

This review has been long over due. I wanted to thank Olympic Kitchens Inc. for designing my kitchen (7 years ago) and bathrooms (2 years ago). We are glad that Olympic Kitchen helped with our kitchen and bathroom designs. I like to thank the staff (Louie Katsis, Ilias Katsis, Patricia Katsis and Andrea Panacci). The craftsmanship of the cabinetry is outstanding and still looks amazing today. I would definitely recommend and hire Olympic Kitchen again.

We were very happy with their professionalism, workmanship and meticulous work and reasonable price. They left the work site everyday clean and orderly.
