Entire Home Trim and Door Work
Paul is awesome! He is flexible, affordable and professional. Some of the solutions/ideas he had to do the finishing touches to my newly renovated home are stunning. He went over and above and thus, we have used him numerous times for various trim and woodwork finishing jobs around the house.
Mike and Anthony are awesome! They did a great job setting up my in-wall/ceiling speakers and whole home entertainment system in my basement. It's is all configured, hidden, and working great! My ONLY qualm is that it didn't take them very long and I feel like $500 for 3 hours work (and a bit of speaker cable) was a bit steep. However, money well spent for this great work/system!

Ed and Sebastian were great. Sebastian was very helpful and knowledgeable on the phone and his partner, Ed, came to fulfill the quote and complete the job. They ended up right in the middle of 5 quotes (pricewise) and seemed to be the most honest and experienced for the dollar value. Ed proceeded to do an incredible job in our basement (on our schedule without ever disrupting our regular lives). It was started and finished when it was supposed to and I was able to paint the very next day! If I ever had another large scale mudding and taping job (400 sq feet or more), I would not hesitate to call them again! Thanks Ed!

Electrical Re-Wiring of Basement
I hired Larry to do some rewiring of my compeletly gutted and renovated basement. I needed to hire a ESA certified professional, as my house had been 'flagged' for electrical deficiencies. Larry came in and cleaned up the basmenet wiring (over 20 junction boxes), rewired new electrical to the new framing, and even went as so far as rewiring my main floor (kitchen not to code, etc). It took a bit longer than expected (do to the extra issues) and cost more than the quote (to again, fix the extra issues - wasn't discussed how much extra, just a number popped out at the end), but overall the work was fantastic. Larry and his team took care and made sure everything was done properly and I passed my ESA inspection no problem!
Terry was fantastic! We had to install 2 ducts into rooms with no HVAC. He did it with no complaints (above and beyond). He also helped me clean up some other duct work, install the dryer vent, install a bathroom fan, plug an old hole to the outside AND he is coming back to balance my furnace. He took a lot longer than he expected (1.5 days) but did not charge me more than the agreed upon price (even with his extra work and issues). Fantastic! Highly recommend!
My main floor had to completely destroyed and rebuilt following a plumbing leak. Dushan and Ralph came in and redid my entire ceiling in my living room and dining room, the wall separating the two, all the crown molding, casings around the door, trim and quarter round, etc. They did a very thorough and professional job! They were so careful that the job actually took quite a bit longer that expected (negative). There was also more mess than expected and I had to hire a cleaner to fix it up. However, all in all they did a great job and I'd definitely bring them back to do more work!
At the store I feel like I got a little bit ripped off. The product that was sold to me was supposed to be a premium quality and nice long pieces. When the wood got delivered, most pieces were no more that 2 feet long and it looks quite cheap all laid out. Also, the floors scratch VERY easily. I cant even vacuum the floor for fear of scratches. I now walk though my house on my tip-toes at all times and am very paranoid so as to not waste my $3500. The company will do nothing about this. On the flip side, Yuri (the installer) was fantastic. He did a great job and stayed late to finish so I wouldn't have to take a 2nd day off work. Thanks Yuri! But, I will not buy from them again.
We're sorry to hear you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, but we would need a few more details of the product and why you feel it is not up to your standard. Was it a laminate floor, hardwood or other? Did you contact our office with your concerns? We've received no such complaints in the last 2 months that I can recollect.

Dan Storm is a great guy who is very knowledgeable of the HVAC business. However, he is soooo busy with large contracts, that the little guys like me sometimes get overlooked. I interviewed a lot of HVAC guys and Dan was by far the most qualified, nicest AND the best price. However, it took almost 2 months of coordinating to complete my minor project. I currently have other work for Dan to do, but he cannot seem to squeeze me into his schedule. Its a shame, as he's one of the best in the business!
Mario did an awesome job in a time of need. Although the former home owner did not allow him to do a full inspection, when our basement flooded the day of closing, he came back no questions asked to get to the bottom of it. He has been very helpful with regards to the legal process as well. When we sell out house (after our slew of renovations) we will definitely hire Mario again for his expertise!
Peter and Paul are awesome. Talk about professionalism and just plain nice guys. After some negotiation about the price, they started as scheduled and finished as scheduled. They went over and above and fulfilled some of my other work/requests whilst they were farming out the basement. They gave me tons of useful advice on finishing my basement and I would gladly hire them again for any other wood related work (framing, trim, etc) I need done!
Justin and his crew were awesome! They came quickly in a time of emergency and did the job fast and well. However, I feel as if I got completely hosed on this job, as it was an emergency and I hired the first plumber I could find. All other plumbers I've talked to about the job have quoted me 1/3 of the price. Oh well; if you need a job done WELL and FAST and money isn't an issue, call Justin.
Joe is the nicest guy. He went over and above to finish the floor in my basement when my last contractor walked off the job. Joe and Casey did the best they could with what they were given. They even went into their own pocket to rent a concrete sander to try to level out the floor for me. The work isn't perfect, but again, the effort was fantastic! Would definitely hire them again!
Fausto is the man! I had multiple plumbing issues in my century home. I got many quotes and although Fausto said the exact same thing/made the same recommendations as all the other plumbers, he was roughly HALF the price! He was super professional (on time, tidy and helpful) and even made some last second visits to the home when requested. Him and Sean did a great job and I will use them again for any future plumbing work!

I needed new stairs built in my basement. They promised me a week but were quite delayed and I had to push other projects back. When they came to install, it was quick and easy and the stairs themselves look great!
DO NOT HIRE: The Crack Doctor is an awful company. The gave me the best customer serive I';ve ever had PRIOR to signing that deal to waterproof my basement. Once they had my bisness, it all went downhill. The sales rep had no idea what he was doing and misinformed my on the prioce and financing options. The work took way longer than expected and the company charged me more for the extra tims somehow. When we demo'ed the basement and found other HUGE issues, and I asked for a day off from their work to have other prefessionals (plumbers, electricians, etc) take a look, the owner, Michael, threatened to SUE ME for breach of contract. The job was complete but not satisfactory. My basement now has a 3 inch slant throughout, due to their poor grading of the internal drain system. Their product does come with a lifetime warranty however, and I have not had any further water in my basement, but whenever I call them to ask a question or request them to come fix their sagging membrane, I get the worst customer service ever! DO NOT HIRE!!
DO NOT HIRE!! Andi came in as the lowest quote for me to dig up my basement floor and redo the concrete - $5000. He started doing the work and began complaining how it was more work than he expected. His garbage bin rental price went up and his workers wanted more money. He tried to charge me more money to finish the job. After a long debate, I gave him $1000 for his ONE DAYS work and told him to get out of my house. DO NOT HIRE!!
Cost a bit more than I wanted to spend, but was well worth it. Blair and his crew were great and the job was done fast and well. Only reason it's not a 10 out of 10 was they didn't show up when they were supposed to and didn't even call to apologize. I had to call them and the said sorry, we're coming tomorrow instead...

Kaum came to give me a quote. He was brutally honest (which I usually appreciate) to the point of being rude and unreasonable. When I didn't choose him for the work (I interviewed 5 ESA certified electricians), he called the ESA and ratted out my not to code electrical. I knew it wasn't to code, that's why I was having the work done!! This has now added many additional charges and time because of one person and their poor service!!
