We recently hired Alpha Renovations to renovate our master bathroom. We looked at a few contractors with excellent ratings on Home Stars and ultimately chose Alpha Renovations because of the great reviews. Caio showed up precisely on time even in bad weather and went through the project with us in detail. He immediately impressed us with his knowledge and was also quite pleasant and patient to deal with. He was very upfront with costs and competitive with his pricing. He was also prompt to answer our questions. Once we decided to go with them, he provided a very detailed quote and purchase list for materials. He had some great relationships and discounts with top suppliers, and we were able to find exactly what we were looking for. He laid out a step by step plan for the renovation, and stuck right to it for the 3 week project. His crew was extremely respectful, pleasant, and hardworking. They always showed up on time and kept the house exceptionally clean after they were done. They were cognisant of the fact that we had two young kids and always aired the bathroom out and kept the working areas safe. We went with a well known online supplier (Wayfair) for our vanity and there were several delays in the delivery. However despite us delaying the project multiple times with this specific item, there was never a complaint from the team. The tiling work was exceptional and the final product turned out better than we had imagined (pls see images). The bathroom looks luxurious and is just perfect! Caio was always accessible and helpful throughout the entire project. We will definitely use Alpha Renovations again for future projects. We would definitely recommend them to others without reservation.

We recently moved into a house and wanted to upgrade our alarm system to a more contemporary unit with GSM features. I was also interested in internet connectivity. I first spoke to Sean and was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge base. He was extremely patient with me and went through all the various options to best suit my needs and budget. We ultimately decided to upgrade to a DSC GSM system with the internet module. I was very happy with the timely service. They sent someone in within 48 hours. The technician was very patient and spent 5-6 hours on the new installation and also checked all existing connections. Once he was complete, there was an issue with the internet module. This was not solved immediately but he was able to take it back to the team. After some troubleshooting it was felt that the internet module was the problem and it was replaced very quickly with no questions asked. I was pleased with their response time. As I have just recently signed up with them, I cannot comment on the long term monitoring service. However, overall my experience thus far was very positive and I would have no hesitation in recommended them.

We hired Invision Hardwood and Decor to replace the carpet with hardwood flooring in our new home. Dov was very professional, patient and knowledgeable. At our first encounter at their showroom, he gave us many design ideas that would fit with our vision and our current decor. He then took the time to give us thoughtful suggestions at our home. We decided on beautiful natural hickory flooring. The crew came on time every day and every effort was made to ensure that things looked perfect. They always cleaned up after each working day. There were no hidden surprises, and we were well informed throughout the process. After we completed the job, we noted that there was a small crack in one slabs. We contacted Dov, and he came back to replace the piece without hesitation (which by the way was not that straightforward given that all the pieces were already interlocked). We were always reassured that he had our best interests in mind and above all, he wanted us to be happy with the final product. They take great pride in their work and I would highly recommend Invision to anyone looking for flooring solutions and would not hesitate to use them again. I would like to add, that we went to one of their competitors Alliance flooring for a quote. Alliance was a bigger company but they mentioned that they would not even come out to the house without charging us a fee that would only be refunded if we were to go with them.
