These guys are miracle workers in my books. I had them protect my upholstery & area rugs a couple of years ago after I got a puppy. What a good decision. My dog regularly gets an upset tummy, and throws up on the rugs, the furniture, my bed....never the hardwood floor. Fiber Protection's spot cleaning service gets the stains out every time, even when they're a couple months old. Highly recommend. As an aside the cost estimate was to clean several large area rugs, and protect all the rugs and upholstery in a 3 story house.

I've used AtlasCare for 9 years because of their great service that lived up to its reputation. However in the spring 2021 they were acquired by Right Time Group of Companies, and it appears the wheels have fallen off. In the past 4 months, despite multiple attempts and follow-ups by email and phone, I was unable to get anyone to show up for, or even respond to a request for 1. a drain inspection (which the company called & offered as a free service); 2. a new HRV/ERV air exchanger, and UVC air purifiers (as promoted in their newsletters); and 3. duct cleaning (which was booked, and confirmed the prior day). Regarding the duct cleaning, when I called to find out why they were a no-show, I was told that their sister company had 3 other appointments that they'd also missed that day. So there's clearly a systemic problem with new management, not a one-time error. I'll be cancelling my service contract and looking for a new provider.

I had a disappointing experience with The Empire Group, though Charles ultimately made it right. I hired them to service my family's antique grandmother clock. It worked just fine, and was simply due for maintenance. Charles assured me they would do a better job than their competitors, and then did a worse job. The clock was returned in poor working order 3 times. It took a 4th trip, and a total of seven months, to return the clock in the same working order that it was picked up in. The initial communication was also poor: calls were not returned, receipts not provided as promised...I had to call constantly to get updates and service. Ultimately Charles returned the clock in the same good condition he picked it up in, and refunded his fee, which he did not have to do.

Located 3200 Ridgeway Drive, #2, Mississauga. I needed a practical and high quality solution for shelving in a basement room to organize a range of personal items: documents, family heirlooms, sports equipment and seasonal decorations. In other words, the usual mishmash one has to store, and hopefully find easily when needed. I found Space Age Shelving in an online search for Metro Shelving, a product which I'd bought previously. Mary spent considerable time working with me, talking through options and sending sketches. Mary knows her products, is responsive, has good insight and was a great advisor on this project. I ended up buying a different product than I planned, which Mary recommended: a steel modular system that attaches to the wall. It was installed this week, and it works perfectly. Highly recommend this service.

My 15-year old A/C finally quit, and after two service calls, Atlas recommended installing a new one for $5,000, rather than repair the old one for $3,000. The installation was a little tricky, as it's an old victorian house built in 1875 with lots of quirky angles to navigate. Nonetheless Tedros and John did the installation well and cleanly. I've always been happy with Atlas, and I'm pleased to leave this review, and have a donation go to Community Living Ontario.

Reliable, on time and conscientious work. I book White Shark twice/year to do my windows and eves. I live in a 3 story townhouse, and they do the top floor as well as the ground floor. This Fall Noel, Kelvyn& Izich (spel?) did the work. Nataline in the office is a pleasure to deal with. I expect she'll have a great career at whatever she decides to do.

Two guys with hustle, integrity and expertise. What more could you ask for? Alex quickly identified the problem with my dryer, which had been jammed too close to the wall, cutting off the airflow through the duct. A little heat resistant tape and advice on how to position the dryer quickly solved the problem.

Alex & Andrew arrived early, were courteous & professional, and did the job well, including explanations of what they did and why. I'm an AtlasCare customer and fan; they installed a new furnace last year that works well, and have always provided excellent ongoing service. I recommend them without reservation.

I've used The Water Works before, and continue to use them because of their reliable and professional service. Happy to have done so again. In addition to quickly unblocking the shower drain, he made a recommendation on how to avoid future blockages of the main drain, which I've experienced twice before.

I am delighted to write this review. NineClouds made and delivered a custom box spring after 3 other stores could not, including a well known national chain of mattress stores. I have an antique mahogany 3/4 bed that is a family heirloom, and was in desperate need of replacing the boxspring, which was falling apart from age. The dimensions of the bed are not even the standard 3/4 size, so I needed a custom-built boxspring. I had called and visited 3 other mattress stores, and one by one they were unable to provide what I'd ask for, including 2 who delivered boxsprings that were the wrong size even though they had the correct measurements. I found NineClouds in a google search, and was impressed by the reviews and the way John handled my phone call. He took all the details, asked the right questions, asked for a small deposit, and within 2 weeks the boxspring was delivered on time, despite a snow storm. The delivery men, Ash and Kanwar showed up early, waited patiently for the appointment time, carefully moved the boxspring up 2 flights of stairs, and took the old one away. I would buy from NineClouds again without hesitation.

I'm taking the time to write another review for AtlasCare, because they "recovered with flair" from a small misunderstanding. When I booked the first follow-up service call to the annual furnace maintenance program I'd purchased in January, I thought I was booking just the service, without the furnace filter & humidifier pad. The reason I'd wanted this is that the cost to include the filter & pad is $160, and these can be purchased at a hardware store for about $40, which I'd done, so had my own filter & pad at the time of the service call. However AltasCare thought I was booking the service call to include them, and the mistake was only discovered after the work was done & the filer & pad had been replaced by AtlasCare. When I explained the mistake, they corrected it without hesitation, by using the filer that I'd bought & replacing theirs, and removing this charge from the bill. While they could have taken the position that they'd already replaced the filter from their own inventory, and couldn't take it back, they chose to make it right & keep the relationship. Well done!

I had an ugly situation on my hands when the floor drain in the furnace room in my old Cabbagetown house backed up the full contents of the sewage drains on a Sunday morning. While I didn't want to pay a premium for a Sunday service call, the situation required urgent attention. The plumber (I'm sorry that I didn't make note of his name) was excellent. Courteous and helpful, he unblocked the drain quickly, and then spent a fair bit of time educating me about the property's plumbing & drainage system, and what to watch for in future. And pleasantly, they didn't charge a premium for the Sunday service call; the cost was more than reasonable for the service provided.

As a new homeowner in Toronto of an old Cabbagetown house, I wanted a highly reliable furnace service company. Atlas was recommended by a friend who has used them for many years. Neil arrived on time, & was courteous in showing me the basics of caring for the furnace, and replaced both furnace & humidifier filter. My only reason for giving 9 stars rather than 10 is that the cost of the filters was quite a bit higher than what they sell for in Home Hardware around the corner: Atlas charged $80 for each, for a total of $160, vs. $15-25 retail. I can't be too critical however, because they offered to replace them at my option, and Neil said I could buy them cheaper myself. I knew I would pay a premium; just didn't expect it to be that high. However the service was great, and I've since bought a supply of filters for future!

I worked with designer Derek @ the Davenport Rd location to design 2 closets for my old Cabbagetown home. Most of the house has been recently renovated to a high standard, but the closets were old & dated. Because of the age of the house, it has some odd shapes & features which had to be accommodated in the design. He patiently worked with me through several iterations of the design, over many weeks. His suggestions were always thoughtful and specific to my lifestyle. Derek also recommended a renovator whose company did an excellent job with the tear out & painting to prep the closets, & rebuild of the wall in one closet, to the point that I've hired them for other work, all done extremely well. When the back wall in one closet was too bowed because of age to safely hold the installation, we put the work on hold until the wall was rebuild. The result is 2 beautiful, highly functional closets that match the high quality of the rest of the house.

I requested a service call for the water filtration system that is in the house I purchased a year ago. I'd never used a filtration system before, and because the system hadn't been used for the past year, I assumed the worst, and that it would need new filters, and possibly more. The office was very efficient in booking the appointment, following up to confirm, and requesting a photo of the system to ensure the plumber brought the right parts. Michael Yuffa arrived on time, was quick and courteous in assessing the system, and to my delight, advised that the system was working well, and wouldn't need new filters for at least another 9-12 months. The only cost was a nominal service call fee.

I needed a specially designed storage shed for a small backyard patio that looks nice & is a practical place to store garden & patio stuff. Zion's company was recommended by my landscaper. They did a fabulous job. The shed was designed & delivered exactly as discussed & agreed. It is very high quality construction, attractive, smells wonderfully of cedar, raccoon proof (so far!), and has kept the contents dry through some pretty hard rain storms. I can't think of anything I would change. Worth every dollar, and highly recommend.
