The approximate cost above is noted as 0 because I did not have to pay any money out of pocket. I have a monthly fee which will be full offset by the savings on my utility bill. Here is my Review: The Polaron Team was exceptional from first contact. I received a complete package within a day outlining the benefits and information pertaining to my home. I signed up and Polaron kept me well informed every step including completing the Green Home grant. I really had nothing to do except my signature and the application for the grant. The Solar system was installed earlier than the initial timeline and the grant confirmed. I was so impressed with the results I referred my Brother who had a system installed at his home and Polaron was kind enough to send me a 200.00 referral gift. Polaron handled everything from permits, installation and the net meter agreement. The system is working well and producing clean energy for my home. I can't believe how easy it was. Don't Delay, start saving energy today.

The initial sales team was great, but once the project started there was delay after delay. After 4 months after our expected install date it was installed, only problem is they didn't send the proper paperwork to Fortis for a meter install, adding another month and a half.

After service support seemed not to know what is going on, you will be on hold for 30-40 min before they answer if they answer at all. I have requested to speak with a manager of some sort to finally sort some of these issues out, requested 4 times through email and 3 times over the phone... no call back. I don't usually write reviews but this is the worst experience I've ever had with a company. If you want to save yourself a headache, choose a another company, there are many out there.

We noticed that we have a faulty panel. Tries to contact them and was finally able to get through on day 2. They said they will have it repaired. Ten days later it is still not repaired. I tried to call and was on hold for over an hour. I tried to call back and their machine hangs up when you go to leave a message. Also, I asked earlier to expand my system. I was told to go elsewhere as it was not a large enough project.

I signed up with Polaron in August of 2022 with the promise of installation by end of April/beginning of March 2023. Once i had paid them for the engineering etc. (~$4K upfront) they stopped communicating. I had to contact them to find out when my units would be installed and was met with either silence or the run around. Finally they arrived in late May unannounced. took 2 days to install everything. I never recieved any notification or communication from Polaron for the remainder of the project until my invoice for $5000 (government grant) showed up. The entire company is based in China and the Canadian branches appear to be run by foreign nationals. The app will not remain connected to the DTU (sending unit) and I have to reset it 2 - 3 times a day. It has been over 2 months, and I've notified them about the issue about 5 times (email, phone, complaint via their customer protal) and have not received a singal response. Expect them to take your money quickly and then never respond to warranty issues.

When we wanted to get solar panels, we decided to get Polaron to handle it.
They knew the ins and outs and prepared us for any hoops we'd need to jump through.
Any time we had a question or concern, we usually had a response within 24 hours.
This may not be important to mention, but they look pretty great too. :)
