One York Construction Management Inc.

One York was hired by my next door neighbour to do major renovations on their home. We have a shared driveway and as a result were going to be impacted by the work. Within hours of starting demolition work, the carelessness of the One York team resulted in a broken window in our home from a flying brick. Further damages were done to the side of our home. Eric, the owner and project manager assured us they would take care of everything for us.
Within weeks, One York had abandoned the project and would not answer or return calls from either their client or me. In all, York One caused over a thousand dollars damage to my home, and from what I understand still holds a significant amount of money of our neighbours for incomplete work. Further, they have left the interior of my neighbours home completely exposed and a large 6 foot deep hole in our shared driveway, making it unusable.
I have left voicemails for both Eric on his personal phone and at his office, I have reached out to him via social media, and even went to the One York office (which seems closed). I have not been able to get a hold of anybody at the company. I would stay far away from this company.

Completely disorganized and dishonest company. Eric is quick to agree to things and collect payment; but when it comes to keeping his promise to deliver; get ready to be disappointed.

Awesome team of people! They were incredibly helpful with laying out all our options and customizing our budget! We loved that we got to see all the subcontractor invoices and receipts for materials etc. Tayo, our site supervisor, was incredibly patient with us and is an incredible carpenter! These guys are the best! Highly recommended!

It was a delight to work with Eric and Christina on our project. I was immediately impressed with their responsiveness to our initial request. And thrilled with their attention to detail and availability throughout the entire project.

Eric and his team were great - they were able to help us renovate our home and create a legal basement rental. Their project management app made the building process and project accounting really easy to track! Our assigned site supervisor, John, was friendly, clean and very professional - also great with our neighbours!
