Kiko's Contracting Plus

We hired Kiko to tile 3 bathrooms including 2 showers. All of the tile had to be removed due to lack of proper installation and shoddy workmanship. Upon removal of his tile work, we discovered waterproof membrane for shower floors had been punctured by putting in screws 1 inch above the floor. This would cause leaks into our floor and result in a ceiling collapse.

We also found tiles were not installed with sufficient or any cement. Instead, some tiles were held together by grout only. A slight tap by hand led to tiles falling off the wall and shower ceiling. Our childrens shower tiles would have fallen on one of them and caused serious injury.

Our expected cost to repair and replace all his shoddy work is going to be an additional $18k-$23k. He took our money and literally walked out of the house claiming he was feeling sick.
Shower floors were not sealed properly and water was draining into the wood floor instead of the actual drain.

Kiko put in a beautiful backsplash this week. He was very professional and accommodating for my work schedule. I left him my key and once he was finished, he dropped key off at my father's house as I was stuck at work. His worksite was very clean! He followed up the day after, and gave me excellent instructions on maintaining the backsplash. An excellent experience!

Removed old tile and installed new subway tile in my condo kitchen. Was a pleasure to work with and did a great job my kitchen looks amazing !

Replaced old flooring with beautiful new tiles. Made the room look new again and totally different. Work was done on time and very accurate with detail. Excellent job and would definitely recommend to a friend!

We hired Francisco to complete a stone porch. He transformed our plain and damaged porch into a beautiful place. Francisco tiled the floor and tub surround in our main bathroom beautifully. He is so meticulous and thoughtfully communicated options and suggestions for the work. He takes pride in a job well done.

Francisco came in and quoted a very straightforward and fair price for the work. He indicated that the cost might be less (it was!) but would not be more. He did an amazing job of re-grouting a bathtub shower to prevent future leaks and also was able to patch some drywall that was cut to find the leak and then paint it, despite the fact that he normally only does tile work. He was very respectful, communicated well and was in and out very quickly. We have already arranged to have him come back in October to re-grout our master ensuite!

Fernando has done a truly great job with our flooring and we are really pleased with it. Our friends and family keep telling us how good it looks. Our entrance way, hallway, powder room and laundry room all look excellent with the new flooring going from room to room throughout the house without any break in the herringbone pattern we chose. Fernando is extremely knowledgeable and a true professional... and very courteous too. If you want an excellent job you need to use a professional who knows their trade and Fernando is that person.

I had Kiko commend and do flooring and I mean bathroom after receiving many quotes for many people. Wheb Kiko came to my home he was friendly and professional. be thoroughly discussed the project bringing up many things that none of the other contractors I bothered to mention. The pricing was more than fair and competitive in the time frame to complete work was extremely reasonable.
The job was started and finished exactly as promised. Having Kiko in my home for a few days was a real pleasure. He was extremely courteous and careful. It was like having a friend come over and do work for me. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. I would highly recommend Kilos Contracting to anyone
