- Company Response
Hello Murph, we appreciate the opportunity to provide you with service. We would like to point out that several points made in your review are completely untrue.
1. Since you proceeded with the initial service, there is no charge on your invoice for the trip charge of $99. Please check your invoice again and you will see that this fee was waived. You were only charged for the toilet snake service. Our technician left an estimate to supply and install a new toilet to avoid having this issue again. You refused to install a new toilet at that time. It is important to note that the old toilet was fully functioning when we left. We did "fix the problem".
2. A day or two later you called back because the toilet became clogged again claiming that we didn't do our job wanting a refund for your money or for us to come back and do the service again for free. We had explained to you that we do not offer warranties on clogged toilets due to the simple fact that we have no control when the blockage will come back again. Your toilet was old and we have no control if tenants or anyone put something down the toilet that was not supposed to be there. The toilet was fully functioning when we left after the initial service.
3. $300 is extremely low to supply and install a quality toilet. Most midrange toilets cost between $300-$600. It is highly unlikely that you hired a licensed professional and had a quality toilet installed for $300. You get what you pay for in this industry and for $300 I can assure you, that you did not get quality fixtures and installation for that price, considering that the standard toilet we supply lists for $600 at Home Depot. Considering we offer a year warranty for parts and labor. We cannot afford to offer low end/cheap toilets to our customers!
We hope you understand. We truly had your best interest in mind every step of the way.
