My boiler was making a whislting sound so i called direct energy/ i have a coverage plan with them for the furnace, technician arrived and said he knew what it was but this part not covered under plan, he installs new part and next day , after charging me 375$ , making SAME NOISE - WORSE, on his way to the boiler he tells me my hot water tank not vented to code, and he has to call his supervisor. I advise that 's what technician said last year, i paid 800$ to vent water heater to their specs one year ago and their technician and supervisor approves it, and NOW he says still not to code and have to replace the water heater with different vent system, so what i did last year was WASTED - company will not refund any money. AWFUL and REDICULOUS - i will NEVER Call them again if you have coverage on any product there are LOTS OF THINGS that are not covered at ALL, but you think you have total coverage - not true - terrible

Attempted a service contract but they doubled the price on the first bill without consent.Had the contract revoked through BBB and received letter of apology.Year later, getting new bills that they generate without any agreement.

I booked my annual furnace maintenance appointment online. The website was easy to use. The maintenance person arrived at a good time. He was very friendly and courteous. He had checked our furnace maintenance history prior to arriving at the house. He provided us with good advice. The service was great.

After I placed a late afternoon call to Customer Service when our Furnace had failed,a service appointment was made for the following day. The contracted service technician attended, found the problem and ordered the part which was delivered within hours. Long story short, our emergency was overcome in a very timely fashion - I am impressed and would recommend Direct Energy Home Services without hesitation.

For the past number of years I've used Direct Energy for the maintenance and cleaning of my furnace. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. The service people were very helpful. I've never had any problems with replacing parts.

A basement washroom (three pieces), a recreation room and a reading room have been established including a plumbing, electrical, ventilation works. It took about a month and successfully done with a nice finishing with a beautiful tile maching and a flooring. All my family members are so satisfied with this renovation.

We needed a new furnace asap - cracked heat exchanger. The sales rep for the area came the same day for our order and it was installed the next morning. Workmen were very courteous and respectful of the house. Job done efficiently and work area left clean. Very knowledgeable and good at explaining everything we needed to know.

we had to refit the whole house. all new windows and roof.
the sales rep who came to our house was very helpful with all the information and the financing options. he didn't push and followed the process through to the end including installation.
the men installed the roof in sub zero temperature and cleaned up very well after themselves.

On Dec. 2009 the house was very cold so I checked the thermostat on the main floor dining room. It showed the temperature was 55 degrees.I then went to the basement to check the furnace and the pilot light. It was off. I called Direct Energy and the serviceman came within 2 hours and fixed the problem. Very satisfy with the response time.
