Bluestone Home Inspection

We have had Kirk complete two home Inspections for us. We found his attention to detail amazing. He was professional, courteous, friendly, and honest. Time and report far exceeded the cost of the service. Kirk arrived early and went to work right away. He is polite, professional, thorough and takes the time to explain. Kirk's report came within the same day of the inspection (great for when purchasing a home) and it was 56 pages long. The detail along with pictures make it hard to refute during price negotiations. We will definitely use and strongly recommend Kirk again. For the small price of an inspection, we saved a half-million dollars on a house that was going to take another $100k + to fix. Had a scheduled 10AM home inspection with Kirk (BlueStone), I arrived at the location at exactly 10 AM, but Kirk was already on site. He had just completed the roof inspection. Very professional and thorough individual - answered most of my questions before I even asked them. Being a property virgin, I learned a lot working with Kirk. Called Kirk to check out at house I was considering for purchase. He was honest, knowledgeable and thorough about all the systems of the house and he put it in writing. Quite the resource and something of a historian too. I learned a lot and would definitely use him again for another house.

Kirk has done 3 inspections for us. He has always been able to find the time even on short notice, arrive punctually (usually ahead of the specified time), and perform a thorough and professional inspection. He explains very carefully during the inspection, and then provides a comprehensive written report, usually within a few hours after completing the inspection. He is also happy to clarify any issues, once we have gone though the report. We have always been very happy with his work.

I was in a real bind when my scheduled home inspector didn't show up on the day of inspection. I was very fortunate to have Kirk from Bluestone cancel his day off to come and do the inspection 2 hours after I called him. We contacted Bluestone home inspection to do a pre-listing inspection of our home. The report was very thorough and detailed. We ended up selling our house for the asking price because any of the issues that would have been negotiated in the sale were already outlined in the inspection. Kirk pointed out things in our own home that we had not known about and we were surprised at many of the issues he outlined.
