Ducky's Drains

I called on a Sunday, early afternoon, with a completely plugged kitchen sink hoping to make an appointment for within the next few days (but really wishing a plumber could come today). Andy was at our home within the hour. Like other reviewers have said - he's terrific! He was friendly, polite, fast, clean, skilled, patient, fully equipped with tools, machines and replacement parts - he did a thoroughly perfect job. As it was a Sunday and the almost 3 hour job was arduous (and awful), we prepared ourselves for a pretty big bill, instead we were charged something completely fair. As he left, we told him he's our plumber for life, if he'll have us : )

Our basement floor drain kept backing up. read some reviews for Ducky's and decided to give them a call in the afternoon. Andy was there at 8:00 the next morning. Had to use 120 ft. of auger before the clog was reached. Everything running smooth, very reasonable rates. we would highly recommend him to others needing drain service. Thank you Andy. our Ensuite bathroom wasn't draining, called one other company they were going to be 3-4 weeks out. Called Ducky Drains someone would be out the next morning between 8 - 10 am. Andy came out just before 8 am. Fixed the clogged drain, even answered a couple of other question we had. Cleaned up after himself disinfected everything including the front door. We will call him again should we require plumbing services in the future. Thank you.

My hot water heater died some time while we were sleeping. We woke up to cold showers! I called a few of the "big" guys and they couldn't fit me in. This was a Friday prior to a long weekend.

I looked up Home Stars and saw great reviews for Ducky's Drains, so I gave them a call. Andrew was polite and professional and guaranteed he would get there before the end of the evening, even though he was still finishing another job.

A few hours later I noticed my hot water heater was still under warranty. Standard procedure is to return the defective heater to the wholesaler for a replacement under warranty. There was no time for this as the wholesaler was near closing. Andrew took my word that it was under warranty, made it to the wholesaler on time, and fronted the cost of the replacement for weeks until he could be reimbursed.

When he got to my house, Andrew was efficient, informative and prepared. The install was top notch and he came through and got us up and running in time to have enough heat to bath our little ones before bed.

I would most definitely recommend Ducky's Drains and next time I require plumbing or mechanical services Andrew will be my first call. Thanks for your superb work, I wish more contractors were as honest and fair as you.

We are so very thankful to have stumbled upon Andrew and his wife - we most definitely have a plumber for life now. Just wanted to have a new sink and faucet installed... unfortunately the slot in the granite was not quite big enough. Andrew was able to recommend an excellent granite cutter who was able to make my new sink fit. I am know enjoying my dream sink and faucet. Top notch customer service from both Andrew and his wife... personable, friendly, honest and professional. Have already recommended their service to our friends and family.

Sunday night had no hot water called around to different plumbers on Monday morning and Andy was the only one who could fit me in that day without waiting a week. He came over that evening and within two hours I had a new hot water tank installed and the old one removed. Andy is a very professional plumber who is really great at what he does. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing work done. Thank you Andy for all your help!

He came when he said he was coming, the job was done very and professionally, he was courteous and pleasant. The price was fair and reasonable. What more can you ask for.

Andy was out the next day after I made the initial call. He was very busy, but made it out later in the evening, did a fine job and the price was reasonable. I would definitely use Duckys again.

Called to get faucet replaced at rental property. Andy was the only plumber to answer his phone (granted, it was right in the middle of the World Cup Final game). Andy was able to assess the problem and replace the faucet within 15 hours of the initial call. He was very informative, reliable, prompt and friendly. I'm a very satisfied customer. As for pricing, it seemed fair but have to admit that I didn't do much shopping around.

Very professional, showed up on time, very neat, identified the problem and repaired it quickly. Pricing was fair. Was impressed with Andy and his work, they will be my first call in the future
