Mark and his associate were extremely professional and did an excellent job installing a pony panel to the main panel and 3 electrical plugs. The price was extremely competitive to other estimates. We recently hired Burton Electric to upgrade our 60 amp fuse to a 200 amp breaker system. Mark Burton proved to be knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. He explained what was involved and notified us upfront regarding possible small changes that might occur once he started. The work was completed over two half days to maximize both their time spent on the job while ensuring we would be without power for the shortest period possible. He arranged for the ESA permit and inspection as well as the Toronto Hydro disconnect and reconnect. The work site was left free of debris and they wore masks the entire time, while we wore masks when close contact was necessary. We will definitely hire Burton Electric for any future electrical needs.

Mark came over and provided sound advice on the 'minimum' cost and his recommendations for the best overall value over the long term. He correctly identified a shortage circuits with enough amps throughout and provided a plan to get from the panel to the new kitchen by opening the (finished) basement ceiling. On the day of the work, I suggested cutting the upstairs living room floor instead, since I was going to replace it later anyways: he not only had the flexibility to do it but got it done in record time, arranged all inspections, progressed while I was on vacation and ended-up replacing some additional switches and upgrading the bathroom electrical (at my suggestion). Now everything works and I can (safely) enjoy the house for decades to come without compromise. Thanks!

On May 2018 I asked Burton Electric (Mark Burton) for an estimate to install a chandelier in my dinning room, and repair switch in a bedroom.
He came within days of my call and of all the quotes he was not the lowest but in the middle. He was polite, great demeanor. He inspected the electrical system and the chandelier and inspected the switch in the bedroom. Gave me a written quote. After discussing this with Merna (wife). We had a good feeling about Mark. So we asked him to do the job.
He arrived with his apprentice and immediately started work. They did excellent work. When they left the house was clean, no mess. They had cleaned up with great care.
They are professionals in every sense of the word.
Any future electrical work in our home will be done by Burton Electric.

Mark and Kyle were very professional and explained what was required to complete the work. They arrived on time and worked steadily, not taking any breaks. Mark arranged for the inspections required and all work was approved by the Electrical Safety association

We were happy to have someone with Marc's expertise and experience to take on such an extensive job for us. He and his crew exhibited great skill, thoroughness, and an attention to detail. I especially appreciated their focus on safe work practices. They arrived on time every day, and made sure to clean up each day before leaving. While work was underway, Mark patiently explained options and found practical solutions to complete the job efficiently. Mark also made some good suggestions for getting the necessary drywall and plaster repair work done once he and his crew had finished the job.

We had some flickering lights in our front hallway. Mark and Kyle came within a few days to repair the problem, and also found some issues with our circuit breaker box that they solved and repaired. They patiently explained everything they did, answered all our questions and they will be returning within a week to do more repairs and upgrading that are sorely needed. We were grateful to find such a good, honest and reliable Electric Company!

Mark and his son performed the job in a prompt and efficient manner. They turned up on time, made no mess, tidied up after them and completed the work as quoted. I was very impressed with their work and would use them again.

He is the voice of experience and I could see he knew exactly what to do and how to succinctly obtain the permit and do the job. I interviewed one other fellow before I met Mark... the guy was going to fumble getting a permit and charge me double what Mark quoted! There are many inexperienced people out there!
