Appliance Repairman

Long story short, i paid $320 dollars for a dryer that Appliance Repair did not FIX! When i spoke to customer service they were not AT ALL CUSTOMER FRIENDLY! I said nothing was repaired, the next day when i went to use machine it still didn't work and did the same thing.

I asked for a refund but was happy to pay the $80 fee that was agreed to for someone to even come and look at the machine.

I was assured the machine could be repaired on site and would work for a limited life span. Meaning eventually i would have to get a new machine because this problem would occur again but that the repair guy would fix it for the time being with no parts.

This was not the case and as said before once i used it the next day, the dryer didn't DRY.

Upon speaking with APPLIANCE REPAIRS customer service of 1 person who clearly didn't understand the concept of customer service. She offered me a refund of $45. Not even the $80 of the initial charge. Regardless I paid $320 so not sure where this random number of $45 dollars came from and how that would make me happy.

All in all, very unhappy with this company and will continue to fight back because i'm happy to pay for a service if completed but my machine is still broken and i'm out $320 dollars.

NEVER USE THIS SERVICE. A technician checked the fridge and said that he can't find the issue but HE KNOWS that for $280 + materials he will fix it. In the next 15 minutes he replaced a starter relay and charged $452. I was stunned and called the company which said that this is their normal practice. I wish I read other reviews first...

These guys only want your money. They want $320 up front to look at the dishwasher. They tell you that the $320 is for all the labour to fix the dishwasher, parts will be extra. They found a leak in a hose, repaired it and didn't bother to look for any other problems. They left happily with my $320. There was another problem so they came back and told me it was $120 for an $85 part and $180 for the labour to install. I had already paid them $320 for 30 min of work. STAY AWAY FROM APPLIANCE REPAIRMAN.

these con artists came to "fix" my fridge. the guy pretended to work on the fridge and said the fridge needed a new compressor. He said he had to fix 3 other things with the fridge which cost $300. We then contacted LG for our fridge repair as a compressor (parts) is under warranty. When the technician came and saw the invoice from the Appliance Repairman he said that whatever the technician said he did, was not true because if he had done it there is certain evidence that would have shown on the fridge if that work had actually been done. we called and demanded a refund. apparently there is never any management on site just sales representatives. we received a written statement from LG rep stating that the work paid for was never done and even with the written statement they refuse to give the refund for the fraudulent work. they are con artists that take peoples hard earned money and have no human morals. I have reported them to the BBB! please DO NOT give these con artists your business!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Same story as all other people. They came to my house and gave me an outrageous price to fix my washer and split. This company needs to be stopped and needs to be stopped. They quoted me $812 to fix my washing machine and after talking to other companies I can get it fixed for a few hundred less. All's they want is the service call money so they give a crazy price to fix the appliance. They had no explanation for their quote and when I got upset with them they hung up on me. This company should be on an episode of Market Place. They are rip off artist and need to be stop. DO NOT USE THEM. plenty of other companies out there that are honest. I can't believe this company, the most deceitful company I have ever come across .

The repairman did not fix or change anything
he said the oven would heat up and left before it reached temp which it did not
I phoned customer service and asked them to sent the servoice rep back as he was only 5 min gone but they were no help

Had a service call to fix our washing machine, guy looked at it and said it was the bearing and that he can fix it same day and would cost $280 (after reading all the other reviews, seems as though this is the magic number to fix every problem). After we agreed to it, it was a totally different problem...needed a new part...so he said he would order the part but could not give us an estimate but all we would have to pay extra is for the part, the $280 included installation of the part. Next day, he calls and the part is no longer available (machine is only 7 years old) so he can't fix the machine but we're not getting our money back. So basically we paid $280 plus tax for him to tell us our machine was broken. Called service desk and said they never refund any money ever...don't really care about customer service, they just want to take as much money from you as possible. Not even sure if these guys are licensed.

This company is operated by a dishonest person with no morals!!
I highly recommend consulting and contacting the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services (Ontario) as you are covered by their laws! Please know your rights!!

This company is a con from start to finish. Similar story to everyone else. Called to repair fridge freezer. Had very convincing story about why it wasn't working and what needed to be done to fix it. Told me the compressor sounded good but then wrote on the invoice if the same thing happened again it would need a new compressor for $1340.00. "Repair" worked for the 10 minutes it took to collect $316.00 cash and run. No wonder they won't accept credit cards as you could put a stop payment on it.

Exorbitant prices. $350 to repair a coin operated washer which had the same problem when he was done. No parts purchased. 1 hour labor for $350!!
