Our A/C unit outside had stopped working. The fan portion in the house was okay but the outside unit didn't work. Without much effort, George had a pretty good idea what the problem was, which was to replace the capacitor and top up the gas. Before I knew it, the a/c was working and we were getting some much needed relief from the heat. As usual, Ultra Home Products in Richmond Hill has provided us with quick, efficient, cost effective and friendly service and I would recommend them for heating and air conditioning service any time.

We have lived in our home for 30 years and have always wanted a gas fireplace. We have had numerous companies tell us that it was impossible as we have a zero clearance fireplace and that there was not an insert that would fit. Raus of Ultra Home came and measured and said that it could be done. The installation was done by Raus's father and uncle. They are perfectionists. I could not believe how clean and competent they were. Everything was to code and we now have a working gas fireplace. Thanks.

They did a good work of replacing my Air condition one day service. BUT, when it comes to the rebate for energy saving product, I did not get $400 that I suppose to get. They should have given me the paper to send by mail but they instead said we'll send it for you! Don't trust them for the rebate take the paper and send it yourself.

We were having problems with our furnace. It would start up to come and then shut down. Our service man George cleaned the ventor motor and pressure switch and we were good to go. He kindly recommended that if it happens again it would be best to replace both parts since they are getting old. George is a nice and honest person and we have dealt with him before. If we require future servicing on our furnace and A/C, we will definitely be calling Ultra Home Products.

We performed extensive renovations on a newly purchased house. Part of this work included replacing an aging furnace with a high efficiency model, a dying loud A/C with a new quiet model, replace wood fireplace with gas, draw gas line into patio for a bbq, and gas to the stove to replace an electric stove with a gas one.

Ultra Home was incredibly professional, and did an amazing job in all regards. Given that we were performing renovations (dusty), they recommended that some of the work which be done early, then after the dust had settled (literally) to complete the rest.

They drew gas pipes for all of the items (very well hidden), installed the Regency gas fireplace (which I bought through them) wonderfully, not taking any short-cuts, and drawing the air/gas exchange pipes *up the chimney* as oppose to through the wall.

I could go on and on, but in the end, I have to say: Great job on the installs, great job on the clean-up. Also, the first time I encountered a problem (a furnace code unrelated to their work) they were right on it, and helped out.

In my experience, a true 10 out of 10 if there ever was one.
