We were really pleased with Mernaz. He diagnosed the problem, which turned out to be minor, and he charged us a very reasonable amount. He was very honest with us. We would recommend ABC Appliance Repair, and we are happy to have found this business.

Vlad made special efforts to come all the way from Brampton to Toronto after he finished his last assignment to fix my fridge. He located the problem quickly and also took the time to explain what it was and ways to prevent it. Price was reasonable as quoted.

The bottom freezer in my fridge iced over and leaked onto the floor with each defrost cycle. Called Vlad who came over on time the next morning. Cleaned and de-iced the cabinet and, more importantly, unplugged the drain tube. Clean, quick and efficient, Vlad left me with some instructions to prevent a recurrence of the problem. His quote was modest and exactly what I paid. A very pleasant, dedicated person, obviously proud of his workmanship, I totally recommend Vlad.

I have an older model dryer which needed repair. It is at the point where I thought I would have to replace it, so I was not expecting it could be fixed, or I was anticipating it to be a very expensive repair. I called ABC Appliance on a Friday, and Vlad was able to come by to look at it early the next day. He repaired it in no time, and he even vacuumed out the inner filter without asking.
This was a few months ago and the dryer is still working well. Vlad was knowledgeable, dependable and I would highly recommend ABC Appliances for any appliance repairs you may need.

I called Vlad back because I was happy with the washer/dryer repairs he did a year ago. He showed up in a timely manner, was polite and worked quickly. This time my dishwasher needed repairing. Vlad came out to the house again in a timely manner. The dishwasher was repaired quickly thereby not being too costly. Vlad also gave recommendations on the maintenance of the dishwasher so that future issues could be avoided. Would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

Vlad arrived on time and checked my freezer. When everything seemed to be going well with the Refrigerator, he took extra time to explain what I could do to make sure the fridge ran smoothly and had a long life.

Had him come in for a washer repair. was supposed to come in at an agreed upon time, but no response. Called him 30 minutes after the time he was supposed to arrive and he said he wasn't going to be able to make it, which is understandable but I would've appreciated the call an hour earlier. Scheduled another appointment which he arrived on time. Explained the problem (leaky, wouldn't complete a cycle, etc). He spent a few hours and the problem appeared to be fixed. The next day, I put in clothes into the washer and the cycle never completed. Thus, I had the same problem I did before without the leak. Called Vlad and told him the problem and he wanted to charge me to come back (service call, parts, etc) to look at the problem. His explanation was that the washer ran with no problems (with no clothes) in the diagnostic cycle, so he did his job. I was never offered my money back, so at the end of the day, I wasted $200 for a service that was not completed. Vlad does not stand by his work and completely ripped me off with his service. I would never recommend him to anyone as he did not finish the repair on my washer, but his resolution a problem that he did not fix was to come back in to do another service call with no guarantee of the washer working.

I was out of town on a late Friday night, when the tenants reached out to tell me the washing machine was broken. Very few details on why and how. I reached out to Vlad, who responded in less than an hour, and made flexible arrangements for the next morning.

Vlad handled the repairs in a prompt, a very fair price, and made the process easy logistically and painless especially for being remote, and limited communication. Highly recommend for those who need someone reliable, honest, and can get the job done on the regular. As a property owner, good help is hard to find! Will definitely call Vlad again for any appliance repairs, he's worth keeping in your rolodex!

On Saturday my dryer started to make a noise. Although the GE dryer was not new it was under 3 years old. I started doing a search based on Mabe's website and found it disappointing. I came to the HomeStars website and came upon Vlad. I called and he was so friendly and he offered to come on Sunday. I declined but was impressed that someone would come on a Sunday. He came on Monday during the time we agreed. I was feeling anxious about the visit as I have heard stories about other repair men and I am one tough customer to deal with. I have to say Vlad really impressed me. He went over and above what I expected. The fee was excellent and I could have not been happier. I would recommend Vlad to anyone.
