I have an older model dryer which needed repair. It is at the point where I thought I would have to replace it, so I was not expecting it could be fixed, or I was anticipating it to be a very expensive repair. I called ABC Appliance on a Friday, and Vlad was able to come by to look at it early the next day. He repaired it in no time, and he even vacuumed out the inner filter without asking. This was a few months ago and the dryer is still working well. Vlad was knowledgeable, dependable and I would highly recommend ABC Appliances for any appliance repairs you may need.

Hurricane "Sandy' decided to swing by my home a few weeks back and took away the entire side of my back deck. I was referred to Beaches Handyman by a friend. I called Johnny and he came by right away to have a look. He provided me with a couple of options for repair and I decided to go with a deck re-build (something I was planning on doing in the spring anyway). I wasn't sure building a new deck would even be possible at this time of year but Johnny made it happen. He made a number of great recommends that I would not have considered, and within four days I had a beautiful new deck. His work was top-notch and well thought out. He also noticed some bad wiring installed by a previous owner, repaired it, installed a new motion light - even fixed an old broken latch on my back gate. The work was spotless - he left my yard cleaner than before he arrived! I received an itemized final bill on budget with a record of all expenditures. I would highly recommend Johnny's work to anyone looking for any kind of home repair and will definitely be calling him for any other projects I need done.

I received a number of quotes before replacing my roof and I am very glad I chose to go with Canadian Roofing Company. It was not long after leaving a message that I heard from Jason Hunter, the company's owner. He came by the house, assessed the job and took the time to explain what needed to be done. His approach was honest and he was extremely knowledgeable. It was more than evident he had actually done work up on a roof and was not merely trying to sell me a product. The work was done relatively quickly (CRC is busy - mostly because they are so good at what they do). Once the work started, the roof was done in a day, followed by a new chimney, eaves and downspouts. The crews on each project were courteous, efficient, respectful of my property and my neighbours, and clean-up was amazing. I was beginning to feel guilty that up to this point I had not even given a deposit. Jason would not accept payment until he had inspected the work himself and knew I was satisfied. The fact that CRC is a family run business and has been around for 30 years instills a great amount of confidence. I would definitely recommend Jason and his team at Canadian Roofing Company. My only issue now is that my new roof looks so good it is putting my old windows and dated front porch to shame.
