I "found" this company as they were waterproofing the house next door. I stopped to ask the workers what they were doing, and I liked their attitude. I met their 'boss' , Adam, whom I met that day. They did a few small jobs for me (fixed cement driveway, fixed and re-parged corner of my house, etc) very thoroughly and reasonably. In waterproofing my house they took on 'extra' work that needed to be done such as removing carpet from basement to carpet cleaners, buying new under-carpet material, checking for black mold, moving the furniture as needed, etc. He added extra insulation for the back of the house knowing that my plumbing was too close to the back wall and prone to freezing in the winter (and came to blowtorch my pipes when they did freeze). Adam Oliver was very good at keeping me up-to date on their progress, including e-mailing me while I was away- (with photos). Adam (and his partner Ernie) are proud of the work their company does, and aim for a high standard. The actual waterproofing is complete but there are still things to be completed, such as re-doing parts of the back yard, which they will do later on (by mutual agreement). Before and since they have also repaired leaks in the stack, and did considerable repairs on the back wall of the house - installing new wood beams, etc, etc, I am not sure but think that might have been included in the waterproofing price. I felt all right leaving them to do the work while I was away, and knowing they would do it well. I forgot to mention that they began the work in the fall or winter, and used any warm days they could to get it done at the earliest possible time. And after the ice storms they worked to keep the runoff from going into my basement.
