Got Red tagged by Enbridge for Furnace and Water heater! Called big HVAC providers and got quotes. None offered me the ability to purchase the water heater. Decided to call Chet, and it was well worth it.

Chet provided good advice to ensure that I could also take advantage of available Enbridge rebates.

I ended up giving the job to Chet to install a new Furnace, AC, and tankless water heater. Chet and Iggy work well together and take their time to ensure the job is done right.

Our old tank gave way unexpectedly as they often do (only 12 yrs old). Had planned on getting a tankless sometime so had researched a bit already. It was Dec so needed solution pretty quick. A some quotes from the big companies and they tended to quote the Rinnai, which is on the pricey side and requires custom pipes. Didn't strike me as an economical design IMHO. I asked Chet for a quote for the same and he had much better pricing, but also spent a good amount of time talking to me about how they would do the work and what I could expect. I asked him for alternatives to the Rinnai and I focused on the Navien, which also had some good (and bad) reviews, but it seemed the company was making significant improvements based on customer feedback - this is the kind of company I want to buy from and they had a better warranty than anyone else telling me they stand behind their product. Chet answered lots of questions to help us decide and was very unbiased. We chose this one in the end (NR240A for this region).

Chet and his team were fantastic. They were ready to get going the next day once we made our decision. Chet made some great suggestions about options to run the gas line taking into consideration that we have a number of gas appliances and he didn't want to reduce any flow to them. I think this required a bit more effort on their part but didn't impact the quote - it really made be feel they were concerned about doing the job right. I knew this to be true as I watched them work. They were efficient and clearly knew what they were doing and worked as a team. They came back to me anytime there was an option and gave me their recommendation instead of just deciding for me. I really liked being part of the process.

We are 2 years in without any issues. I wasn't expecting to save much money on the monthly bill, but there has been a small drop. The BIG difference is having endless hot water for the kids baths and our showers - no more planning around this. I think we use more hot water because of it so I guess we are saving a bit since the billing when down a bit. Another plus is that it is dead quiet. Our old one must have had a loud blower or maybe it was normal, I don't know, but quiet now. Other niceness is you can adjust the temp (unlike a tank where there is a min tank temp and a safety value mixes cold water with the hot (that you paid to heat), and it frees floor space.

We have also called Comfortek for our Gas Fireplace and furnace maintenance. Very happy with the service!
