In assessing any home services, I generally look at four factors:

1. Professionalism
2. Quality of Workmanship
3. Quality of materials used and,
4. Price.

When applied to Preferred Plumbing Solutions, here is my opinion.

Professionalism – This is prominently displayed from the very time you pick up the phone and call them. Sandra at the office, as well as the technicians, Raphie and Mario, are all thorough professionals. When dealing with them, they treat you with respect and courteousness. They are also very thorough in their assessment of the problem and take a lot of pain in explaining the issue to the client and its solutions. The solutions offered are tiered and graded to offer price options to clients. This is to enable them to meet with their budgets similar to platinum, gold, silver and bronze plans one comes across with other service providers.

Quality of Workmanship – Since this company always uses a team of two, the workmanship is very neat and thorough. This is quite rare for ordinary plumbers to work as a team. They respect your home and keep the work area and surroundings clean.

Quality of Materials – The materials used are of the highest quality but they would be equally pleased to work with materials that you supply provided it meets their minimum quality standards.

Price – If you are looking for “cheap” prices for the type of services that this company performs, this may not be your kind of plumber. But considering the value that this company provides, the warranties for their work, I can say that overall, I was very pleased with Preferred Plumbing Solutions.

The team was pleasant, respectful and mindful about cleanliness (very appreciated that they were willing to come during Covid-19 lockdown). Raphie offered sensible options and associated costs, and explained these clearly in a written estimate. Preferred Plumbing had on-hand a selection of well-considered, good quality, well-designed replacement fixtures, which facilitated decision making.

Work was done to high quality, including applying creative solutions to some challenges that come with an older home. They also kindly alerted me to the benefits of other potential future work, without selling me on anything.

I hired preferred plumbing to unclog our dishwasher. I was very nervous that during covid-19 this would be a problem. However, the first thing Mario did before entering my home was explain all the precautions and equipment he was using to prevent any spread, always keeping me informed of sanitation, masks and gloves he was using to be cautious. Quickly my problem was diagnosed and what should have taken an hour took over 3, as Raphi and Mario did not want to leave without flushing out the dishwasher pipes over 10x until they were satisfied they ran clean. They went over and above their job, always being sure to wear in-home booties to keep my floors clean, they used my central vac to vacuum behind the dishwasher, and even installed the bag holder under the sink to give me more space! I couldn't be more impressed with these guys. I would hire them over and over again. Their easy demeanor and knowledge put me at ease and I would trust them with all my plumbing needs.

PPS came in when I noticed that my bathroom sink was leaking. They offered me several repair and maintenance options with exact pricing for each one. I chose the repair that best suited our situation. They did the work, were friendly as always, and left the bathroom sparkling clean, even fixed my loose toilet seat :)

My kitchen faucet broke down on Sunday and I went onto HomeStars to hopefully find someone that could help ASAP. Ralphie responded within an hour and I had an appointment the next day! Very professional, knowledgeable - he went above and beyond repairing the kitchen counter (that was no small feat), replaced my faucet sink, new water pipes, and water valves. I also had a toilet that needed replacing and with luck he had one in his truck! It is quite an upgraded from my previous model. These two gentlemen worked for approximately 5 hours to get everything done to perfection. Also they are very Covid19 conscientious, wearing masks, gloves, etc. Not mention they cleaned up everything after they were done. I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

Reliable punctual and very careful and mindful of covid 19 reality of sanitizing and social distancing. Solved my leak problem and went out of their way to secure othe potential leak situations. Thank you preffered plumbing

I sent an email to Preferred Plumbing on a Saturday requesting assistance and received a return phone call the very next day. An appointment was set up for Tuesday. There was a slight delay in arrival but their office called and emailed me to explain the delay. In these challenging times Raphie and Mario arrived in masks, gloves and boots to cover their shoes. They did a very thorough analysis of the problem and offered me different options and costs for the necessary work. I am so impressed with their knowledge! I would highly recommend them.

Prompt. Professional. Provided options. Work completed quickly. Proper COVID-19 precautions taken. Would definitely recommend their services. Thanks for the great work.

Preferred Plumbing provided amazing service! They worked efficiently and Raphie and his crew were incredible and very professional. They fixed the problem and cleaned up everything when the job was complete. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish.
