We noticed a few water marks on our ceiling so we called around trying to get someone to come and have a look to see what needed to be done. Sokol was the only one who came to have a look other offered quotes without actually seeing what was needed. National Stars quote was lower than the others. Sokol helped us identify a few other issues with the roof which were taken care of during the repair. Roof was done within a day, the crew was very good, friendly and the clean up was immaculate. The only problem I have is that I have run out of businees cards to provide to people enquiring about our roof.

My grandfather always said he liked to get quality work at a fair price. National Star Roofing also set this as the expectation and then exceeded my expectations, with high quality products, expert installation, fastidious clean up, and a friendly work team (all family members) who arrived in numbers large enough to ensure a one day completion thus no unwanted exposure of a half finished roof to the elements. I had two residential roofs completed in two successive days and even the bigger cedar shake removal and asphalt replacement was done in one day by nine good men. Beyond all this, the team supplied and installed a new chimney at the lower cost property (along with some roof sheathing) without any change to the original estimate. I absolutely recommend these guys!

After interviewing three different roofing companies, I decided to go with National Star Roofing. Sokol and Alex gave me the best price and used superior shingles. National Star roofing is family owned and operated and the quality of their work is clearly important to them. They did an excellent job. I believe I have the nicest roof in my neighbourhood. Installation was quick, on time, stress free and looks great. They cleaned everything up after and what really blew us away was they did the shed, which was not part of the quote at no additional cost. They did it on purpose!

We recently had our old, worn roof replaced by National Star Roofing. In short, the job they did was outstanding, our roof looks amazing. The crew worked very quickly and efficiently completing the work in one day. The job foreman was without a doubt one of the most professional, friendly and knowledgeable trade people we have dealt with. This is a family owned and operated business and it shows in their workmanship, their friendliness and, how they treat the worksite with respect. Our yard looked better after they left then it did before. The clean-up was exceptional.
Noticing that our gutters were clogged with leaves and debris they cleaned them out thoroughly. We were also told that the flashing around our fireplace chimney needed to be replaced as it previously had been done incorrectly. This was not included in our original estimate but the work was done at no extra charge. The initial estimate we received is what we paid. Thanks to Sokol, the job foreman and, the extremely well organized, hardworking and efficient work crew for a job well done. We are very happy with our decision to use this company and we certainly have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them. After my neighbor mentioned to me he had hail damage on his house I decided to get my roof checked as well. I contacted a few contractors and National Star was the only company that responded to my inquiry in a timely matter. Sokol inspected the roof and confirmed the hail damage. He also noticed a loose shingle and an area that would be a candidate for patching. After the insurance company verified the hail damage, Sokol provided me an estimate for the roof and scheduled the work for the spring. In order to get us through the winter National Star patched the area that was missing a shingle at no extra charge.
This past week National Star completed the work as per their estimate with no hidden costs. Sokol and the National Star crew are very professional and take their work very seriously. They are always on time, which cannot be said about most contractors. They treat your home as if it was their own and clean up after themselves. Their attention to detail, quality materials and quality construction is second to none. I would recommend National Star to anyone that is looking for quality work and professional service.

Last year I noticed some roof damage. Sokol from National Star came to do an estimate as did a few other reps from other roofing companies. Right from the start I realized that National did things different. They were very clear about everything they do to ensure a quality job and explained the value of their products and process. Choosing them from the initial contact was easy. Watching them work confirmed the decision many times over. My next door neighbor and I both did our roofs with them at the same time so I was able to observe many elements of the process. We had a discussion about doing this work and we both agreed - anyone can do it but only the guys that care do it well. These guys apply a significant amount of effort into making sure everything is done right including extra attention to details such as sealing minor cracks in stucco on the chimney to ensure you and your roof are saved from future issues. They don't nickel and dime you to death after the initial quote, they are very professional and work hard, they do their best to accommodate you while doing the job and they clean up better than any other crew I have seen.

Our shingles were old and worn and we needed a complete roof upgrade. Last fall, I called a few roofing companies for estimates and felt that National Star offered the best value. When I say best value I do not mean the cheapest, however I felt that their quote was the most inclusive and offered the best products for the job. Everything is included on your quote so unless you have a high amount of plywood rot there should be no surprises during the process. They do not try to upsell you like some other companies, they offer high quality products from the start. This roof replacement is a one time deal for me & I wanted it done right with very high quality work and materials. I felt assured this would be the case after the initial meeting. We signed the contract for the job to proceed in the spring.

I was very impressed with Sokol and his team from quote through completion. Communication before, during and afterwards has been excellent. They are only a phone call away and I can tell that they stand behind their work. In the unlikely event that we have a problem I am confident that Sokol and his team will handle it promptly.

The roof looks amazing and the installation was completed in a timely fashion with a thorough clean up, and all issues found on the original roof were explained and discussed with us to describe how it was made better. A roof inspection with my husband with full description was completed at the end. I am confident that this roof is better now than the original.

National Star Roofing met all my expectations and more. Sokal and his crew did all they said they would do and I never felt in doubt about the way they handled everything. I have had various jobs in the home building industry and know what it takes to get the job done, on time and in budget. They did just that. I schedule crews for installations in new home builds and I only want the best and if I needed roofers, this company would be my #1 go to !!! Clean up was done extremely well and the foreman took me through everything after the installation.. Thanks again to the guys and I am recommending them all my neighbours and coworkers.
