Polar Spas

This place is great, everyone there is so friendly and helpful, and the tubs are awesome! We got our tub about a month ago and love it! Our salesperson was Rachel and she was great, some things were on back order but she made sure to follow up and check that we got everything we needed. Delivery and set up was a breeze and we were in the tub later that day, we didn't wait for it to heat all the way up because it was a hot day and were so excited to try it out! Maintenance is easy mostly just some shock after the party nights, and the jets and stereo are great! We recommend Polar Spas to anyone and when I can afford it I would love to get one of the swim spas!

We are very pleased with our purchase from Polar Spas. It's been a godsend after a hard days work or just to relax before slumber. We use our tub almost everyday, especially during the winter months. There is nothing more Canadian than sitting in a hot tub watching the snow come down with a wobbly pop in your hand, eh? Thanks for the great product, it turned out exactly as we requested.

Just recently my husband and I purchased an mPULSE Infrared Sauna from Polar spas. To be specific we chose the bELIEVE model. We have been looking at getting an infrared sauana for quite some time now but could never decide on which one and where to buy. After much window shopping we finally decided on Polar Spas and have never been happier. From the moment we came into the store there was a relaxing atompshere. No one pressured us to buy anything instead our sales person Rachel educated us on the varieties of saunas both in their store as well as in the community. As we did some research on our own previous to our store visit I knew that what Rachel was telling us what true. We didn't buy the first time out instead we went and did some more shopping around only to find that Rachel and the whole staff of Polar Spas was the best we ever dealt with. Our experience in the store was amazing. We have had our Sauna for a few months now and use it on a regular basis. It is indeed the high quality product we were hoping for. We would recomment Polar Spas to everyone we know and in fact that is where we will purchase our hot tub next.

Great product, knowledgeable staff, and a friendly atmosphere, a winning combination for a wonderful shopping experience. I was in the market for a Sauna and polar spas helped me find the perfect sauna for my needs, I shopped many places and it seems hard to find a place that carries quality product and has the staff that's willing to listen to its customers in order to fulfill their needs. I bought a tub back in September of 2012. It all started at the home show, i was shopping for a tub and found the exact dimensions that i was looking for. A salesmen by the name of Larry started to give me the sales pitch on the tub. He started off by telling me that the tub was a one of a kind chemical free tub (THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A CHEMICAL FREE TUB!!!! NO MATTER NO WAY NO HOW!!! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SALES PITCH!!!), at the time i found that to be very appealing. I was also told it had a 10 year bumper to bumper warranty. After further looking into it i checked with Dynasty Spas and i was informed that the tub only has a 3 year warranty. They say the rest in an instore warranty but try to get a hold of them or try get them to send someone out. Trust me it will not happen!!! Next it was time to talk price..... Well the initial quote was $24,000!!! Give me a break. I quickly got him down to 12,000 then we had agreed on 10,000 all in. WOW did i feel special for getting that $14,000 break ( i'm kidding). Then they told me that the tub would only cost 20 bucks a month...... Maybe in July!!! Theres no way!!! it's at least 80 bucks.
I buy the tub, it gets delivered, i get power to it and get it going.... The lights wont work>>>> I try to get a hold of them and no one of importance was ever around or they were there but to busy to do anything! Long story short i had to resort to texting the owner a 1000 times and even then the lights didnt get fixed for 2 months!

After owning my tub for a few months i started to become very skeptical about the no chemical thing. My water had an odor and there was always stuff floating around in it. So i start asking around and visiting other spa places in Alberta. Every single place told me that it's impossible to have a safe, clean and healthy hot tub without chlorine. I also visited another Dynasty spa dealer and saw my exact tub there (i was told that this tub was exclusive to polar spas). I got to chatting and i asked "can this tub really be used chemical free?". He replied "Oh no, you bought a spa from POLAR SPAS didnt you?". Wow did i feel dooped at that moment!! The tub is definitely not chemical free if it were i'm pretty sure Dynasty Spas would have it advertised all over the place! Had i only known this tub was a Dynasty Spa before i bought it.

These guys seriously need to be sued for straight up misrepresenting their product and misleading people. I'm sure there are 100's of you that are feeling the same way and for all those considering making a polar spa purchase, DONT!!!! Look up a Dynasty spa dealer in your area and you'll find the same tub with an honest staff and honest prices. For all you that have been ripped off and would like to take some legal action on this matter please contact me.

Got a great deal but not worth the deal as my hot tub stopped working just over 6 months later. Called left 3 messages NO call back. What kind of deal is that as its winter where i am and I had to get someone else out to fix something that should of been covered under worrinty. Over 2 weeks still no call

Originally placed an order and deposit for a tub in June of 1012. Paid for tub in full at beginning of Dec. 2012 and tub was delivered mid-Dec. Wrong tub had been ordered (wrong color/model). Discussed with Jesse in Calgary, at first he seemed very pro-active at trying to solve the problem. Initially he said he would get something sorted out over the next few weeks and place a "rush" order for the proper tub or find some way that I would be satisfied. It is now April 2nd, 2013 and still NO firm delivery date for the tub. It still appears that it will be a month away from delivery. (Polar Spas has had my FULL payment for the hot tub since the begining of Dec.) - But still no hot tub. I talked to the South Edmonton location and discussed my concerns. I stated that I would like the hot tub delivered within next couple weeks or I would like my money back. They proceeded to tell me that I would have to "Litigate" in order to attempt to recover my payment. Not impressed at all with Polar Spas and I would not recommend dealing with these guys. If they are having manufacturing problems that they can't seem to rectify, then maybe they should keep in touch with their customers and let them know what problems they are experiencing. I HAVEN'T receiced ONE phone call from these guys!! Instead I've been calling them once a month or so for updates. (But they provide no real answers).

We are thrilled with the service we received from Polar Spas. We went into the store with a budget in mind and asked what we could get for that budget amount. They showed us both new and refurbished tubs and explained the differences. We purchased a tub that day and had it delivered within a week. 9 days after purchase we were happily enjoying our new tub!

Ordered and paid for new cover in Aug/2012' have not yet received it as of Feb 19, 2013, keep getting excuses as to the length of time, 1st it was on back order, now every time I call it will be in next week on the truck, manager never in to take call or returns my call, have to wonder if it was even ordered. Latest update, my cover was bumped off truck in their last shipment so will take another few weeks before it arrives???
