Another superb job by Sosna Inc.!

We hired Sosna to renovate our second floor including new hardwood flooring and both guest and master bedroom bathrooms. We were so thrilled with the outcome that we hired Sosna once again to do a complete renovation of our first floor. This included a new kitchen, flooring, powder room, laundry room and a makeover of our dated family room fireplace.

Andrei is an excellent listener and is able to capture client requirements very well. His project management skills shine thru from gathering requirements, to planning and design, construction and after completion follow-up. His problem solving skills are excellent and if an issue came up he would respond quickly and always resolve it to our satisfaction.

The whole Sosna team is very diligent, hard working, and provide excellent craftsmanship and quality finished work. Olga, the Sosna designer was invaluable in providing options for the design of our new kitchen. Olga’s knowledge, advice, and suggestions were
truly outstanding. It was a tremendous pleasure working with her for the second time.

Roman, the project manager for our renovation was always accessible and quick to respond if we needed to discuss anything. Vitaliy always arrived on time every day. His quality of work, work ethic and meticulous clean up every night was greatly appreciated.

Sosna Inc was referred to us by a friend, whose kitchen was also renovated by them a few years ago. Andrei and his team were very accommodating and professional. This was our very first renovation. We hired Sosna to do a complete master washroom renovation. We are very happy with the finished washroom. The work was completed ahead of schedule and was very professionally done. We are very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship and the entire team including the designer Olga and the subcontractors. Everyone always showed up for work and cleaned up daily and at the end of the job. They discussed any issues with us as they arose, and all were resolved. We hired Andrei and his team to do a complete renovation of our bathroom, which involved moving a wall and door. They did an excellent job, from design to construction and installation. The design process was very helpful and relieved a lot of the stress involved in choosing materials. We opted for a custom vanity and provided a photo of something we liked. The completed vanity exceeded our expectations for both design & functionality. The quality of workmanship, attention to detail and response to concerns was exceptional. The team were great to work with and respectful of our home. They never failed to clean up before leaving at the end of the day. We love our new bathroom!

This renovation effectively involved a floor to ceiling transformation, with a complete demolition to start followed by a complete rebuild. New walk-in shower, new custom vanity, new bathtub, new toilet, new tiling, new fixtures. The planning and pre-construction meetings were focused and effective. SOSNA staff were very detail-oriented and formulated an operational plan that was followed closely. On-site trades were very good and courteous, maintaining as clean a work site as possible given that the family remained in the house throughout this process. And the attitude of the sub-trades (cabinetry, counter) were consistent with that of SOSNA - their work was almost seamless when viewed with that of the SOSNA staff. Corrective actions to issues that arose during the project were prompt and effective. And finally, the work was completed within the timeline SOSNA provided up-front. The end-result is a beautiful new master bath.

Once again I hired Andrei and his team to complete a major 10 week renovation of my 1922 built home. In addition to completing basement renos, a small upstairs bathroom and then the rest of the second storey, Sosna Inc. has now completed the whole main floor of my house, stairs to the second storey as well as putting insulation and stucco on the outside west wall.

This year I again turned to Designer Olga who did an exceptional job of maximizing the space in the small bathroom previously. This time her design not only maximized the space for the kitchen, but also opened up the entire main floor living area and virtually made it a new house! I am so pleased with her work. It is difficult in an older home to modernize and yet maintain the unique character of the home. Olga once again listened to what was important to me and worked with the Sosna team to retain certain features of the original home, for example some years ago I had stripped the old finish off wood railings and mouldings and she insisted that this wood was beautiful and not be painted as is often the trend today. She kept even a portion of an old plate rail in the dining room and it looks amazing with the new kitchen.

Care to detail and exceptional workmanship has been noted by all of Andrei's team, not just Olga. The plumber, plasterer, cabinet maker, electrician, stucco team, carpet installers, window installers were all good as well as being punctual and respectful of the areas that were not under construction. Vitaly is amazing when it comes to tiling, both the floor and the backsplash. The original hardwood floor was refinished by Dragos upstairs last winter and with this project he replaced the old with the new. While it may be easier to work with the new flooring, I'd like to add that he was a truly a master when it came to fixing the upstairs floors where repairs needed to be made and some new wood needed to be added in small spaces and matched with the old. The Project Manager, Roman, kept everything to schedule and was a very hard worker himself. He was also always very prompt at getting back to me with any questions I had.

Andrei has always been great on each and every project he has done on this house. He has satisfied every little request and major requests too. He takes care of all details and honours the contract process. It is very clear that Andrei aims to keep his clients happy and finish projects to their satisfaction. However that being said, there are always surprises that cannot be anticipated. The Sosna team dealt with the discovery of asbestos in a wall that was removed in a prompt and safe manner. The abatement costs were additional costs to me but most understandable. I was glad that Sosna Inc recommended a quality abatement company to deal with the asbestos removal safely and very quickly.

In addition to a thorough contract that included timelines, I had a detailed outline of the work to be done and they stuck to it! I continue to be impressed that all workers make a real effort to keep the house as neat as possible and garbage is cleared away regularly. The new hardwood floors were protected until the very last moment when painting and everything else was done.

I cannot say enough how much I value their professionalism and the pride they take in their work. I would highly recommend the Sosna Team to anyone without hesitation.

We had a perfect experience with Sosna! My mom already had a great experience having her basement renovated with Sosna a couple of years ago and on that recommendation we hired the team to renovate our completely unfinished basement - they 'wowed' us and we are thrilled with our basement as a compete and amazing extended living space (includes bedroom, huge bathroom, open kitchen and recreation area). Here is how easy and seamless the process and experience was for us: Sosna took care of everything end to end, design, architectural drawings, all permits, recommendations and curating of all of the finishes throughout the basement (the in house designer, Olga, is spot on in planning interiors - and it was soooo easy, she brought all of our short listed choices for finishes and pieces to us and put it together so well - she ensured and advised that everything from the doors, to floors, to paint, to lighting to bathroom fixtures flowed across our entire home). The Sosna team thinks of everything, every detail of the project and manages it efficiently and on time. They impressed us with their professionalism and organization. Every day for over 3 months they were at our home before 7am and finished in late afternoon, and everyday the basement was immaculately clean and tidy. The whole crew, Roman, Eugene and the rest of the team were committed, and a pleasure to have in our home. Sosna takes huge pride in their work, down to the last detail, and in ensuring a great outcome and positive experience for the homeowners. We highly recommend Sosna for any reno project.

This company was so professional. From the estimate meeting to the final review, Andrei was only concerned about our needs and expectations. The work crew were polite, well skilled and on time. They are very professional, Andrei attended appointments on time, was very thorough with what we could expect from them and what was expected from us. They arrived promptly on the scheduled start date and finished on the day they said they hoped to. They job would have been finished a day earlier but we were waiting on a custom piece that came a day later then was hoped for.
