I had a positive experience in dealing with GoldStar company in three parts.
First I had the person come over to show me the windows and discuss prices. Nick had car trouble and could not come at the scheduled time but was very good about keeping me informed and we just rescheduled from the morning to the afternoon. I felt very comfortable with the interaction. There was no heavy sales pressure, and in part due to that I decided to get windows installed in my sunroom (to replace ones so old and gap filled that bugs were coming in), bedroom and bathroom.
Two days later I had another rep come to measure my windows and confirm what I wanted. Sergio was not just on time, he was early and in and out in under 10 min. Two weeks after that I had my windows installed by three workers. The entire multi-step procedure was smooth.
My windows were installed on November 16, 2012 so it didn't take long to put them to the test. We noticed an instant difference in the temperature of our home after the windows were installed.
We would definitely recommend GoldStar to others.

I got three quotes and GoldStar was the lowest. The estimator Roman was very professional and explained everything, and made some good suggestions. The crew arrived when promised, and completed the work on time. The workmanship is excellent, thanks Alex! Very neat caulking job, nicely formed aluminum, everything looks great - better than I expected. The cleaned up very thoroughly, no scraps or nails anywhere. Final price was exactly as quoted. I'm very pleased and would certainly use them again for future work.

My husband & I are so impressed. Our home is so beautiful now. We love it. Gold Star has improved the beauty and quality of our home. Our neighbors are so happy they have asked us who we used and what's their number. Gold Star had done our friends house for windows in December and they were pleased. We had an estimate by Ilia. He was so personable and sincere. It's nice to work with a real person and not a stiff salesman. Thereafter we dealt with Alex and Ivan for our windows installation. When calling into Gold Star customer service is very helpful. Any questions I had were answered. Good response time and very courteous.
The price, quality, and service was fantastic. My family got to meet the Gold Star Family and we felt like their family by the end of the job. Ilia, Andrew, Alex & Ivan made us feel so comfortable. The quality of the windows they manufacture are so superior to what else we saw out there. The factory tour of their machinery and equipment was out of this world. The installation was clean they use drop cloths and they are very careful as if they're in their own home. We are very careful as to who we have in our home. Overall this is the company you want in your home. What a great job! We love it.

After doing a great deal of research about the work which I needed done , I decided upon GoldStar and I am extremely happy that I did. From the very first phone call I knew that I had made the right choice. Roman was the first person that I dealt with. My wife and I met with him and he explained to us in detail the benefits of using GoldStar products. He also took us on a tour of the factory so that we could actually see their windows being made. What impressed most about Roman was his knowledge of windows (he could have written the book) and of his deep passion for the company he works for as well as for the product he sells. The windows went up with old world style craftmanship. Andrew coordinated the entire project and Roman came to our home to inspect the job and to answer any questions we might have. They were both a pleasure to deal with. I can only reiterate what has been already said about this company. Their honesty, professionalism, quality and workmanship are second to none. GoldStar replaced 10 windows in my sunroom. The old windows were rotted out. The windows needed to be re-framed along with some other structural work. GoldStar installed all 10 of the windows and they look and work great. There are 5 casement windows with 5 awning windows on top of the casement windows. The windows go from the floor to ceiling. I installed all the other windows in my house. GoldStar came and took care of the project.
There were a few issues with specifics of the type of windows we ordered. But it was taken care of through a quick conversation. They were very easy to talk with.
Everything is done well.
The salesman Ilia was not pushy and professional. This is a must. Do not go with the companies that put a huge mark up on the windows. That is a rip off. GoldStar gave a good price from the start.
They were easy to communicate with and ready to solve all the problems.
They installed the windows when they said they were going to install them, and communicated clearly.
In the end - the windows look beautiful and they did a good job. I would recommend GoldStar for their fair pricing - clear communication and good quality of work.

I am so impressed with GoldStar. From start to finish they meet all expectations or exceeded them. My salesman Nick taught me all about Low E windows, what makes windows and makers different, what to ask other companies during my vetting process, etc... I didn't feel pushed in one direction or another, I felt like Nick was just teaching me about all options. After meeting with Nick, all other salesmen and companies that came out to give quotes paled in comparison.
Nick told me it would take about 3 weeks to have all the windows made to order at the manufacturing facility and that he would call when they were in to schedule installation. As expected 3 weeks later (even with Christmas holidays), Sandra from GoldStar's office called to tell me my windows were in. Sergio was able to install them within a week. He told me the installation of all 13 windows would be done in 1 day and I really didn't believe him.
Sergio and two other installers showed up at exactly 9am on the day they said they would. They immediately got to work and installed window after window throughout the day. They didn't take a lunch break or waste any time. As promised, and to my amazement, by 7:30 they were completely finished inside and out.
One of the installers even noticed that my front door know wasn't catching quite right and fixed it for me. Now that impressed me! I really cannot say enough good things about GoldStar and the people that work there. I've already recommended them to friends of mine.

I had horribly drafty, cheap windows in my condo that would not lock and would literally blow in during heavy winds. I did a LOT of research and had 2 estimates before contacting Gold Star. First, the salesman Ilia showed me samples of window corners and immediately, you see the dramatic difference in the products. The Gold Star windows are incredibly superior in structure. Ilia also explained the warranty - it is a lifetime warranty that even extends to the new owners of your home when you sell. The energy rating is significantly higher than all the competitors. I had them installed today and am literally overwhelmed. Not only do I immediately feel the difference in warmth, I don't hear any outside noise. I live in downtown Toronto with a bus stop outside my windows, and face a busy street. Before, my condo apt. was really noisy but now it is so nice and quiet. I just increased the value of my home, and the energy savings. Again, I did a TON of research and there is no comparison - Gold Star offers a product and warranty that is 100% better than anyone else in the area. I could not be happier with the sales service, and the installation was quick and painless, and they did a great job of cleaning up after. A VERY satisfied customer!

I cannot compliment GoldStar company enough. From the sales pitch to installation, everything was professional, thoughtful, and smooth. Roman, the salesman that came to our house, was everything a good salesman should be: knowledgeable, clear, warm, thorough, engaging, trustworthy, and respectful. Even though we were only having 5 windows installed, we felt valued and important. He came back when we wanted to explore some other arrangements and seemed happy to do so. Overall, a great experience with him. The windows are of excellent quality and we liked that we were supporting a nearby company. 5 double hung, replacement vinyl windows installed for 1700, we found to be an excellent deal given the quality of the windows compared to other estimates that we got, which wanted to charge more for a lesser quality product. We are going to do the whole house with these windows and with GoldStar company. Because the windows are all custom ordered, installation would take at least three weeks. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we got a call two weeks early that they were ready. The windows are assembled on the spot to ensure an accurate fit. Installers Alex and Vlad arrived early and were done ahead of schedule. (I kept them waiting because I was running errands and assumed it would take them longer- whoops, sorry.) Installation was clean and quick. Alex gave me a tutorial on how to use the windows, which was helpful. From start to finish, an excellent experience. I HIGHLY recommend GoldStar company and the windows that they install.

I had four major home improvement companies in to give me estimates for new windows. I choose Gold Star. The company did a remarkable job!
Another company advertises a lot, but I went into their showroom and it was dark and dingy. I just didn't feel good about their operation and the fact that they didn't even manufacture the windows themselves.. I went to Gold Star's showroom and was impressed. It was bright and clean and you could tell they had pride in their operation. I also got a tour of their factory. All modern computerized robotic technology and you could practically eat of the floor, it was so clean. Gold Star gave me a good price and a lifetime warranty. They've been in business a long time, so I trust that they will be around to honor their warranty if I ever need them to.
I had cedar shingles and wood windows and trim on my colonial. I was spending a fortune every few years to have it painted and it only looked good for a year or two. Gold Star replaced my single pane wood windows with triple pane vinyl windows. The house was MUCH warmer last winter and it looks GREAT. It still looks like the job was just finished. Their workmanship Sergio and Ivan is great and they were very careful of the deck and the expensive plantings around the house. When they cleaned up, you wouldn't even have known we had this big project done. We have had lots of compliments on the job and have recommended Gold Star to many people.

We contracted Gold Star for window replacement of large front window facing street which are comprised of large picture window with a casement window on either side.
We had several visits to the showroom and then Roman came to the house to measure and provide an exact price quote. Gold Star provided addresses in the are where work had been completed by them, and we drove around and looked at the houses. We were impressed with the quality of the products. Roman is a perfect gentleman, friendly, knowledgeable and professional.The wording of the contract paperwork was
very complete and included all details.
We were totally satisfied with the quality of the work and the wonderful crew.They cleaned the worksite each day.The showed up each day on time and had a supervisor overseeing
every aspect of the job. At the end of the job, a different gentleman Andrew called to check to make sure that everything meets the customer's satisfaction. We could not be happier with the finished job.Our fifty year old house looks new and we
