This company came into our home and installed a brand new Central Air unit from top to bottom in 2019.... everything was NEW! Within 1 year of usage the compressor and condensing unit broke down and then they came to look at it. After reviewing everything, they told me they couldn't fix the problem. Even if they could, they were going to charge me for all of the labour costs.

I have since had to hire another company to come in and replace everything brand new... doubling my costs. DO NOT Trust these guys!!

Finally I have a company that is really knowledgeable and experienced.

Nordicair always is able to diagnose the problem.
This is RARE to find.
Other companies start replacing parts without really knowing which part needs to be replaced.

Mario, many times is able to figure out over the phone what the problem is so that when the technician arrives he has the parts with him.

I completely recommend Nordicair for repairs, service or new installation. !!!

Mario came to install the furnice,air conditioning,and all the ducts inside the house.After2 year we started to have problems with A/C —summer-and furnice.We called Mario,he response quickly try to find the problem,but never really fix it.The A/C was never going well.Dorin supposed to can wto take a look again this summer,summer ended,never came.
Now the furnice starts to have problems agoain like last winter.Mario last winter try to solve the problem,could not find the real problem and the furnice was on and off.Now we are tired enough to call and not getting the right diagnostic .The job was unprofessional and at this point after 5 years we’ll call a different company to try to make it work or to replace the furnice.Never would recommend this company.

My furnace was stopping intermittently so I called Nordicair for help. Mario is really nice and his customer service is great. He responded quick and sent out Dorin. Dorin was quick to replace the pressure switch and furnace was running. It stopped shortly after. Called Mario and he said computer board likely need to be switched but Dorin would need to come take a look again.

I wanted a second opinion so I called the manufacturer of the furnace and read to them the error code on the controller LED and provided symptoms of furnace. Determined it was sensor under blower fan. They sent replacement part and I had a different company fix/replace the sensor.

I felt like Dorin could have spent more time to diagnose the problem and troubleshoot the issue. Mario followed up a few times and was always nice and respectful.

Like every other Homestars review previously posted here I too have been a long time satisfied Nordicair customer. You can’t find a better knowledgeable dependable Frigidaire furnace contractor in Toronto in my opinion. Seven years ago we replaced our old furnace with the latest high efficiency two stage Frigidaire furnace and Hepa Air filtration system. Our house is thus dust free year round along with being cosy warm all winter. Mario and Dorin over the years have taken excellent care of all our heating needs and so each year when I arrange for our annual furnace maintenance tune-up I turn to the guys from Nordicair for their excellent service, fast response, and reasonable rates. Why not check them out and see for yourself.

The old AC unit we inherited with our home finally gave it up last Tuesday, the day before Canada Day. A representative visited that same day and provided a recommendation for a Frigidair unit and a quote. We had used NordicAir to replace our furnace several years ago, so I knew the quote would represent a good value, and the installation would be handled cleanly, professionally and with technical precision. So I immediately asked to move ahead and was advised that installation wouldn’t be possible until the following week. Not surprising during a heat wave. As promised, a technician arrived on Tuesday morning, and a smooth, professional installation was completed later that afternoon. These guys deliver a great combo of quality and value.

Our four year old furnace motor quit this winter. After getting the runaround and poor response from the company that initially installed it (and after being without heat for four days!), we contacted Nordicair to help us out. My dad has been using Nordicair for many years and had great experience with them.

They did not disappoint. We contacted Nordicair Tuesday morning and explained our dilemma. After being told by original furnace installer that they could not source a replacement motor for our furnace, Nordicair not only located one within a few hours of my call but were on their way to pick it up. They showed up the next morning to install it, 24 hours from my initial call.

Wonderful service, great guys to deal with, honest, professional and reliable. We cannot recommend highly enough. We were very impressed and will continue to use them for all our furnace and gas fireplace service work.

I worked with Nordicair on a new furnace & AC unit - they guided me through model selection, always explaining why one model might be best for *me* and my home. They took their time and made me feel like I was in good hands.
Installation went off without a hitch, and the installer was very adamant about making sure I registered all equipment so that he could help me in future in case there were ever a warranted issue! Great!
We had a question about operation, and not only did they answer everything, but they followed up with another call to make sure I was happy with their products/service!
