Rainbow Hardwood Flooring

Fred and team did an amazing job refinishing my living room and dinning room hardwood flooring. Both floors were original (1955) and I went with a natural finish, they came out absolutely stunning. They were friendly, answered all my questions, and provided guidance on selecting a great finish. The team showed up on time and kept a tidy work area. Fred and his team resurfaced both the ground and main floors in our home. The floors had some considerable damage in areas from previous owners, including broken pieces of flooring, holes, animal damage and excess wear.

Fred brought the floors back to life and did a great job matching the new wood with the original the best that he could.

Our hardwood floor was stripped and refinished by Fred and his team approx 3 -4 years ago. We were initially thrilled with the job that was done.

Over the last year or so we noticed that every footprint shows on the floor in higher traffic areas. We currently wear slippers even in the hot weather as even is socks you can see every footprint. Not ideal in the summer.

If you lift up the heat registers in the house you can see that the difference between the finish that is untouched under the register or under the kitchen table as compared to the flooring where there is traffic.

2 weeks before we called Fred we decided to try a flooring product called Bono to see if it would help. It did not.

Fred replied to my email right away and came over very quickly at my request!

Unfortunately he locked on to the fact that we tried Bono and would not listen when we told him that it had only been used twice. He became arugmentative and defensive asserting that the issue with the floor was using Bono.

We ended up asking him to leave.

We were told that the "warrantee" on the floor was 8 years.

As I started with, very happy with the work that was done but extremely disappointed in the response to our concerns and the attitude.

The floor will need to be refinished again or taken up and replaced.

Fred and his crew did an amazing job on our hardwood flooring. Fred answered all of my concerns in a timely manner. We are very pleased with our hardwood flooring .

I hired rainbow flooring to save some very thin VERY old floors (100 years old). Fred did it quickly and SO WELL with zero issues, zero mess and in fact finished ahead of schedule. I am very happy with my floors and have already had compliments and it’s only been a couple days.
